Hi Bungo,
Thanks for your return.
In the moment just Western Australia and South Australia have availability.
And in Western Australia it sounds easier than South Australia.
I know that on schedule 2 in Western Australia we need a job offer, Do you know about schedule 1?
See bellow last update.
I did not find about schedule 1 and job offer on http://www.migration.wa.gov.au/

Hi everyone,
Please, some advice in my case.
I am living in Melbourne. I am married and my wife is pregnant (3 months now).
I am working as a Butcher on 457 Visa since October last year. Unfortunately I cannot get my skills assessed through TRA and I will not get 186 Visa with my employer. And as everyone I want a PR and stay longer in Australia.
Back in my country I worked as a Production manager (manufacturing) and if everything ok, I will get my skills assessment from Vetassess next week or week after. My advisory service was very positive and I lodged all documents, so, I am confident.
Note: I do not have work experience as a Production Manager in Australia.
Points:
AGE: 32 = 30 Points now (after 05th of January is going to be 25 points).
English language ability = Competent English (IELTS L=7.0 / R=6.5 / W=6.0 / S=7.5 / Overall = 7.0), note: I am taking Pearson PTE in 3 weeks and I think I can get 10 points here.
Overseas Employment= 10 (5 years last 10 years)
Education qualifications= 15 points
State/Territory = 5 Points
Total points in the moment = 60 points
Total points if I get 65 in Pearson PTE or Ielts 7.0 each band = 70 Points
Could you guys give me some advice on the best way to apply for State Nomination or another way, strategies, etc......
Thanks,
-
Hi guys,
Could someone explain a bit more about 457 to 186?
My situation:
I am currently on 457 visa (10 months). I got my skills assessment 3 weeks ago (TRA) and I got IELTS exam (6.0 each band from last year).
Can I apply for direct entry stream with them?
I do not want to wait 2 years to apply for The Temporary Residence Transition stream.
The good new is that my employer is willing to do it.
Thanks everyone.

Hi Guys,
I am currently on 457 VISA (1 year) and I got my Certificate III In Meat Processing (RPL) few months ago and I got a positive outcome by TRA (skills assessment ) last week.
Considering that they do not have occupation ceiling for unit 3512: Butchers and Smallgoods Makers I would like to know what is the best option in my case to get a PR (I do not want to wait 2 years to get a 186 VISA with my employee (Temporary Residence Transition stream)).
I know that I could go through Direct Entry stream, but I have heard that I need 3 years of experience after my Certificate and Skills Assessment (RPL).
Could someone help me?
Thanks

Hi Guys,
I am on 457 visa as a Butcher ( 1 year). I got through RPL a Certificate III in Meat processing last month.
I am intend to apply to get my skills assessed on Trades Recognition Australia, however, back in my country I just received my wages as cash in hand.
The evidence required for TRA are:

Certified copies of primary or secondary sources of evidence of paid employment;

Pay slips from each employer

Annual payment summaries

Superannuation statements

I do not have it. I just have my statutory declaration explaining everything.
Does anyone in this forum had any similar experience?
Thanks

Hi Guys,
I am on 457 visa as a Butcher ( 1 year). I got through RPL a Certificate III in Meat processing last month. I am intend to apply to get my skills assessed on Trades Recognition Australia.
They say:
"The TRA Migration Skills Assessment Applicant Guidelines state that where an AQF qualification has recently been obtained through RPL, an applicant must also provide evidence of employment that:
covers no less than six years of full-time (or equivalent) paid employment, three years of which may be as a trainee under the direct supervision of a tradesperson/employer (this is considered an informal training period) with an additional three years full-time (or equivalent) paid employment completed at the required skill level for the occupation."
I already have one year of experience in Australia and back to my country I got 2 years of experience as a trainee but I was under 16 and after that 4 years as full time.
And it was more than 10 years ago (I am 32 years old).
Does anyone in this forum had any similar experience?
Thanks

Hi guys,
Has someone here experience working with Australian Education Counsel?
I am looking for RPL and skills assessment after.
But I am afraid of scams.
Thanks,

Dear,
Currently I am on 457 Visa as a Butcher (5 6 months). I do not have formal qualifications, just professional experience.
I am thinking to apply to 190 or 187, but firstly I have to have my skills assessed.
Could someone explain a bit more about it?
Are there butchers here?
Thanks
Doni
