Hi There,
Yes, what's expired will have to be redone and submitted. So if your IELTS has expired, most likely will need to be redone (Ours wasn't), medicals and Australian Police check we had to arrange again and submit new ones. Overseas police check wasn't asked so the old one was fine.

Ok, that's what I thought. Thank you!
Just present your passport when you enter. Don't apply for a visitor visa, that would probably cancel out the 457! -
Hi everybody,
So I've been granted 457 visa and the move is ahead of us.
I understand the visa is electronic so nothing stamped on the passport? Will I need to still apply for the evisitor or will they just let me enter with my passport. I'll take the grant letter with me of course but just not avoid any trouble on the border..
Thank you

Hi everybody,
Got my 457 visa today!
So the timeline again:
Employer was already nominated sponsor, nomination and visa application were submitted by MA on 24.12.14, nomitanion got approved 24.01.15. Medicals done and sent on January and were finlaized before January 24'th. Some extra documents asked from MA on 25, submitted on 29.01.15. Visa granted on 17.04.15 So it took almost exactly 3 months, very frustrating 3 months I'm from a European Union country which is considered High Risk so propably that's the reason for so long waiting time. All the best to the rest of you waiting for their approval, I'm off to surf for flight tickets!

I'm quite sure that's BS. You can make an ImmiAcoount to yourself and then import your applicaton data to it if you have your TRN (Transaction Reference Number). Your TRN you have to get from your agent.

Hi Guys,
a quick question...my application was lodged on 24.12.14 by MA. The apllication was submitted with nomination application which was approved on 24.01. Will the visa processing time be calculated from the date after the nomination got approved (January 24'th) of from the date the applicaton was submitted (December 24'th). I have my health finalized and some additional information submitted on January 29'th and I'm just wondering if by DIBP I'm going on 9 weeks or just 5 weeks..?
Thank you

Hi All,
Applied through MA. Nomination and Visa application submitted on Dec, 24. Nomination approved on January 22'nd. Additional document asked for on January 24'th, submitted on January 26'th, updated as received on January 29'th. Health finalized already... Status: In Progress...
Chewing my fingernails...and running out of them already:) As additional documents were asked, does this mean that a CO has been appointed?

Hi, I did. Took about 4 months and I did chase the department by email. After the email, got a grant immediately on the same day, I doubt it as a coincidence
