Just lodged my application claiming residence requirement exception (my Australian company sent me to Korea for 2 years for work)
Wander how long it would take as people here reported processing times from 2 to 8 month - sounds quit random -
i think she need overall 4.5, no min band requirement.
so if she is good in speaking or reading and listening she can do this
yeah.. true
but for us it's definitely easier to just pay 5K than experience all problems arond IELTS exam

Just got nomination approval!
Got a request to pay the second visa application charge (2nd VAC) of $4,890 in order for my wife to meet the English requirement.
We did not submit any IELTS certifecate for her coz she would not be able to score 4,5 in writing any way....

No grants today.... hm

Got reply from immi:
"Thank you for your email. Currently your application has already been allocated to a team for processing. One of the case officer from the team will be in contact with your migration agent if further documents is needed."

Congrads Steven!!!
Its a big relief for me to here that after you paid 2VAC for your wife, you got visa grant on second work day after that!
Thank you so much for sharing information

well, how funny it is. They shouldn't let those september applications left behind in first instance!
Hope once they finally finish with outstanding september cases, they would move faster with mid October ones.
-
Congratulations ! Your waiting was soooooo long!
170 days thats terrible performance from immi :ssign1:
-
Looks like user TL got his PR today with application/nomination lodged on 13 October according to spreadsheet data. Congratulations!
That's a good sign that immi progress further in October.
But on other hand we had two cases yesterday took over 170 days to grant! thats terrifying ((

Dear all,
Just got email from MA that my nomination was approved on last Friday (20th Feb). I was requested to pay the 2nd visa application charge because my wife didn't get enough IELTS score. I've just made the payment. Hope the other approval letter will come soon! Thank God!
Steven
Hi Steven, I am in the same situation my wife is not able to get IELTS score.
Did you still attached IELTS certificate with lower then required score in it or you did not submit anything for your wife?
We knew from the very beginning that she would not be able to pass it at this stage, so she did not sit IELTS exam at all....
-
as far as I heard they only assess your case as it is on the day application lodged....

Guys,
many of you said here that when you log in to IMMI account you can review status of visa application, "received" "requested" etc.
But in my case I only can see my Health Declaration submitted and nothing else.
It is because I applied via MA and thats why my visa application status only available to them and not shown under my personal account?
And again question if anybody had experience with 2 VAC (second vias application charge) when you spouse do not have IELTS certificate?
How you paid this 5K and when they request to pay?
Thank you!
-
Sorry, which file did they request from you on 8-th Jan? any additional documents? and which date did you submit it to immigration?
-
Congrats mate!
oh, it took you 157 days to get finalized! This is well behind the average. Any idea why it was so long for you?
-
Hi all who still waiting.
Does anyone paid 2VAC (second visa application charge) before you got visa grant?
My wife could not get IELTS bound 4 so certificate was not provided at the time of lodgement.
We applied on 13 Nov via MA
Just curious how long would it take to be asked to pay those 5K and than to visa grant....
