Visa granted this morning!! Thank you all for the support, especially to kuroro2 for the tip to call immigration. I got my grant right after speaking with the officer.
-
For what it's worth, my application is still in progress. I called Australian immigration yesterday and they told me they are still working on it.
-
I called DIAC today. They were very courteous. They told me that my application is assigned to a CO team, but it is not assigned to a CO yet.
-
Mine came through as well this morning, what a relief! Now the real fun begins!
Congrats!! This is awesome.

How do you look at e-medical?
You can access the results summary using your HAP ID at https://www.emedical.immi.gov.au/eMedUI/eMedicalClient

Congrats!! So happy for you.

do the jobs make a difference then? Noticed a few as far as the 23'rd Jan are having grants, wondered if it's due to jobs? Is there a big thing for software engineers at the minute, seems to be millions of them on the list!
I am a software engineer and my application is still "in progress" since January 3rd

Australian embassy in my country already started inquiring about me based on my submitted information.
How did you know that the embassy is inquiring about you?

Congratulations everyone!
I am still enjoying the wait

Hi all I need help , I have completed my ielts test as the main applicant , I am looking to launch my expression ,does my partner also need to write ielts as we are both British citizens,??
Since your partner is a British citizen, they don't need to take an English test per http://www.immi.gov.au/faqs/Pages/how-can-i-prove-i-have-functional-english.aspx

How do we come to know that a case officer has been allocated to the concerned file? Does it reflect in the immiaccount application view page?
I knew because I received an email from the CO yesterday asking for a missing document (police clearance). Nothing changed for me on ImmiAccount yet.
-
Great news, CO assigned! We need to provide police clearance for my wife (on track to arrive this week).

Hi
medicals done today! Can anyone tell me what I should see on immiaccount once they have been uploaded? Also, how long did it take for yours to be uploaded? Thanks
ImmiAccount will say "Health has been finalised for this person for this visa subclass based on the information provided to the department". Also when you check on https://www.emedical.immi.gov.au/eMedUI/eMedicalClient, you will see "completed" next to each medical test item. Mine took about 7 days to update.

I called the FBI today to check on my clearance request. They have just finished working on it and they will mail the letter to me tomorrow.
It took about 16 weeks.
-
@indigonation5, you don't have to wait for CO to request PCC, unless your country doesn't give PCC without a request form.
-
I also did form 80 for my wife and I, just in case. Still waiting for my FBI clearance
-
Yeah, they take quite a bit in the US. 3-4 months. I mailed my application to the FBI already.
-
My wife did her medical exam today. Last remaining piece is police clearance.
-
Hi there, same here.. when did your documents arrive at the FBI? Right now they have a 16 week processing timeline.. mine arrived December 26th. Gonna be a very long wait till the end of april .
The FBI received my clearance request on Nov/7. I still didn't hear anything from them.
-
According to forums, looks like that is a standard message they show on the application while it is pending processing.

My FBI background check took 16 weeks from the date the clearance request was received by the FBI. You can check the status after 12 weeks by calling 304-625-5590.
