Has anyone recently applied from Port Philip (Melbourne)? I submitted yesterday so interested how long I may be waiting for the test and then ceremony

Hey my timeline was:

Nomination lodged April 2014 (late not sure exact date)

Nomination approved July 2014 (again not sure exact date)

Application submitted 18.08.2014 (Decision ready and meds in September)

Visa Granted 11.12.14

Did it ourselves (NO MA) and from UK originially but its a Direct entry transition from 457 so in Aus currently.

VISA GRANTED this morning

Application 18:08:2014

No contact from CO, did ourselves transition from 457. Low risk country

Lodged VISA on 15th August (nomination was already approved) and not a single contact so far from CO. is there something to worry about.

Anyone else with the same situation?( i.e. applied before 15th August and no contact at all)

We are just after you - submitted on 18th August (nomination already approved) 457 to 186 Direct Entry transition and haven't heard anything at all yet. I tried phoning for an update but was told PR application can take 6-12 months. Given what other people on this thread have said it doesn't usually take anything like that long though. Just got to keep waiting ( or checking myimmi account far too many times each day)
