Would like to know how ACS will consider my educational qualification for 189 Subclass visa.

I have around 8+ years of experience in IT as a consultant.

I have completed my education as below,

High School

Diploma in Computer Applications - 2 Years

Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications - 1 Year

is my last three years of education(Diploma & Post Graduate Diploma), be considered as an equivalent to AQF by ACS for claiming 15 points for my education, please let me know.

Would like to know before I can go ahead and apply for ACS, as it can help me understand the points score fro my profile as shown below.

Age<30 = 30 points

Experience<8 = 10 points

Education = ? points

Toefl - 7Band = 10 points

Today, I have been requested for more information by the adelaide processing team asking for Form 80,

Seems someone lodged on 22nd Jan got their grant, is there any one around 24th Jan, who has got the grant or waiting for the grant ?

How is it going with the grant letters this week ?

Can anyone help me, I have received my request for more information from CO. My part has asked for police checks and medicals, my partners part says police checks, chest x-ray after baby born and then non migrating family member to have medical. There is only my partner and I on the visa application. So I don't know what this part means, my partner is going to do full medical in the hope we can move back to Perth ASAP.

I have applied for 189 Visa on Jan 24th 2015 and would like to know where are we exactly with the Jan visa applications.

I see bgarlo's application lodged on 16th Jan has case officer contacted him.

Does someone have any information pls share,

Can someone advice when we need Form 80, is this required always or only when a CO requests as additional documentation.

I have applied for 189 Visa and uploaded all docs including PCC and Medicals, just see some people discussing about Form 80, can someone advice !

My ENS approved yesterday (14/01/2015) by Melobourne Team. Lodged on 21-Aug-2014 so almost took 4 months 3 weeks. if I exclude 3 weeks as break time then it took nearly 4 months.

PR Lodged on 26-Sept-2014 and waiting. Expecting PR approval in a week time.

based on current status/blogs, for you it may take another 1.5 months or so for final visa application result.Nomination result may come soon. They are still looking after Sept applications.

I think they are toggling between Aug & Sep applications or lost of where exactly they are..as i see more Aug applications pending.

Yep, fingers crossed we get our visa's soon, sept the 18th feels like a very long time ago!!

No updates yet of my nomination lodged on 29th Aug and Application submitted on 31st Oct with all documents uploaded, waiting for approvals of both.

Not me. Still waiting here. things are awful quiet, allthou i would imagine today was a weird day in general in sydney with the psychos in martin place. lots of people not at their desks etc....

Am there and i know few of my friends too who are from August..

No idea whats happening, as we didnt see any progress till now even after 115 days of Nomination lodgement.

Fingers crossed for things to happen before XMAS..

All of the documents that i uploaded to my online application had a status of required from the day I added them until yesterday when i got the grant letter (then that section is no longer on my Immi account). as its repaced with the grant letter.
