No news here....the wait is killing me..

I lodged mine on the 20th and I`m still waiting....

You can arrive separately if you wish as long as you both enter before the Last Entry Date. If there is no condition in your visa grant letter that requires the Primary applicant to enter first (there probably won't be but check just in case), it won't matter who enters first.

So... After form 80 ' s were requested last Tuesday and submitted late Friday. .. this morning I received notification that finally..... my visas had been granted!

 

Woohoo.

 

Latest date to enter is 21st November (1yr from our medicals) strangely not 23rd July (1 yr from my wife's PCC).

 

Anyway... After the elation of receiving our visas I now have he dreaded task of telling my mum. That isn't going to be easy :-/

Hi guys.. I have a question that maybe you can help me with. I will be migrating to Australia with my girlfriend (De facto). Is it necessary to arrive to Australia on the same date or can we travel on different dates?....any clues?

Hi guys! I`m seeing very little movement in the tracker... before the holidays I was hoping for news mids January but now it seems that I wont be getting an answer before February. In my case I have family in WA (Bunbury) but in my line of work (Industrial Engineer) there is more jobs offer in Melbourne and Sydney...

Any news on your application?

I´m from Argentina and I did not have to wear a paper shirt through my medical but my girlfriend did...I dont know why. Nevertheless the doctor asked me to be present in the room while he was examining her.

Plenty of the October gang have had grants in December. We aren't going to be far away :-)

Hi guys! why do you think that there is going to be a delay? I thought that the allocation was given to a group so that if one of the officers leaves (for holidays in this case) another takes its place...

Quick question... I`m applying with my girlfriend (de facto) I`m thinking of travelling by myself and once I find a job she will come. Is there any condition that we both have to travel together??..

Hi Asela, from the looks of it, people who have lodged their application on mid october are getting a direct grant or CO allocation nowadays. I`ve lodged my app on the 20th of November so if the holidays does not push things a little bit back I`m hoping for some action mid january....I believe you will be contacted on the first days of January.

Hi guys!! this is my first post! I sent my application on the 20th. I did the medicals last friday with my partner and I´m now translating a whole bunch of documents (I`m from Argentina). Is there any chance that the processing time would be longer than 3 months which is the time stated by DIAC??
