  1. I live in Queensland but my application is being dealt with by the Perth office. How about yours?

My friend has been waiting for about 45 days and it's Perth office. When his MA rang them, they told him that the case officer's desk was empty and they would leave the message. But my one is in Parramatta. Let's hope will be soon.

  2. Hi Stubborn1,

I see in your timeline that your application was decision ready when you lodged but IMMI still asked for further documents. So I was wondering what further documents they were asking?

    Hi Nicolo

Unfortunately they were not satisfied with the police clearance of both countries even though they we not expired. They asked for the most recent one.

  3. is this partner's ielts depends on CO oe strictly for all RSMS 187 ?i am confused when i rang immi regarding this they said partner should only meet charecter and health requirements.? please giv me your reply from your experience ..txs

    Hi Riya

primary applicant must meet the language requirement that is 6 band each and the secondary applicant( dependent)has options either 4.5 average score in ielts or pay $4890 as a second instalment later on. Hope this may help.

  4. i was told by immigration the police Certs must be valid at time of application submitted not the time they look at it! Mine have expired since submission in October so I'm hoping this is not required, can I ask what country were the police Certs required for?

    Hi Midwife99

As I mentioned above the police clearance must be valid when the case officers have a look on applications. Be sure that PCC should be the most recent one( less than 12 months)

  5. Hi guys

one of my friends applied his visa application on 14th of October 2014. His file is opened yesterday and the case officer asked for AFP clearance and the police report from his country as well although they were supplied before. They asked for the fresh reports. So just let you guys, if your police reports are expired or about to expire better get new and upload them straightaway. Sometimes the MAs do not tell these these things.[/quote)

What was the expiration date of your friend's PCC from his country?

    Hi nicolo

even after he got the police report from his country he hasn't been there and there is no expiry at all. it's just 11 months old.

  7. Hi jay...I believe there is nobody here who really knows what happens at DIBP or how they operate...but, on the other hand, and in all fairness, every each of us surely have special own story/situation that may explain, at least in part, some of the time processing divergencies (vs. others), don't you think? Let's us just hope that they speed up the process for EVERYONE!

Exactly Korf7. I'm just in wait and watch condition.

  8. **** yeah!!! My defacto partner and I have both been granted PR!!! Visa lodged 2nd of October!!! I am from a non eta approved country so it shouldn't too long for October applicants especially if your from an ETA approved country. Good luck everyone. This thread has been awesome. Cheers, Sam

    Congratulations Sambhav

enjoy your residency in Australia. I'm eagerly waiting my day. Not too long... Fingercrossed..

  9. Hi All, I have applied through the ENS 186 scheme.

The application was lodged through an MA on 16th October. All docs, tests etc submitted together.

    Heard nothing back yet.

Am I in the same boat as everyone else who lodged in October?

    Hey mate

look at me on the same boat. This week or next for sure. Fingercrossed!!

  10. Congratulations those who got their nomination approved or granted visa. As I'm keen observer and the active member of the timeline,I notice that the way they took a very long time for June applications, they repeat the same process for September applications. Hopefully they will jump to October next week.

  12. Hi guys

as you have discussed about the changes taken place regarding the ENS and RSMS applications, I wanna just ask a simple question. Did you find this in any immigration website? If yes, the changes gonna taken place for sure. If not, it's just a hoax. Wait for 3 months then look forward. Simple.

  13. Hi all,

will be applying for 186 next month, 457 transitional stream,.......my employers sbs approval(standard business sponsorship approval)will be expiring in a few months, think april 2015,he doesnt want to renew it because he doesnt intend on sponsoring anybody this year.

My quetion is ,does his sbs approval need to be renewed and active for my 186 application to be successful ??

could someone please answer this query,thanx.[/quote

you don't necessarily need to have SBS approval for the 186 visa. So don't worry mate. SBS approval is needed only for the 457 visa. Good on you.
