I emailed my CO FORM-80 and within 2 hours I received that Golden Email!!! My visa was granted!!! It just took 8 weeks, 1 day!

I got an email from CO yesterday, she asked for FORM-80. Will submit by this week.

I was just about to go to bed......and ping went my email and there it was direct grant!!!!! Over the moon!!!! 10 years we have waited for this!!!! So, so happy!! Now I have to go to bed as I have to get up in 5 hours and do a 12 hour shift and not tell anyone!! How hard will that be now!!! Arghh!!

Hello, congrats to all on all those that have their grants! I'm anxiously waiting for ours now.....lodged on the 17th oct..so it'll be 8 weeks on Friday. So hoping we get something soon...I'm rubbish at being patient! Every time my phone pings I check it!! X

VISA Granted this morning!!! Thanks to all Forum members here to keep us updated !!!!

For me it was impossible thing because of Overclaiming mistake which i did earlier but still got direct grant!!!

28th July EOI and VIS SS submission

25th Sep SS Approved and ITA received

28th Sep Lodge Visa with all frontloaded docs(Including form 80 and many 1023 form for all mistakes i have done)

03 Dec Direct Visa Grant!!!

We lodged 12 October and front loaded all docs. CO contacted us yesterday asking for a couple more documents which we've uploaded and emailed. Hoping to hear fairly soon.

Sorry for the late reply! I would like to share my happiness with you that my birthday gift was received on 17 Nov. It is a directly granted! What I could feel is that Australian is so sweet, they offered me a grant notice in my birthday. :wink:

"Global Visas" is a migration agency based in UK but they have some overseas offices (in Cape Town, Dubai, US). You can have a look on here: facebook.com/pages/Complain-Global-Visas-now-IXP-Fraud-Case/599964250045665

They took money from clients and changed the name of the company.

@james84 , @NeelD , @Matthewroberts , @Ashlie what is "Global Visas". I just found on another website that a company named "SKB Global" or "SKB Global Inc." is a scam company and they found a lead to the owner of company. Are you guys talking about this company? Please advice.

Just after the list of uploaded document you can see your health test has been finalised. You can also check it from eHealth client: emedical.immi.gov.au/eMedUI/eMedicalClient

This client will show when your health files is submitted to DIBP. I hope this helps.

Hey all thought I'd join this thread! We lodged our visa on 13/10/14 and have now completed the medicals and police checks. I'm hoping we get the grant before Christmas - although we won't be telling family until after January 10th as we know MiL won't take it well, it's my husband's 30th on 10th Jan so we want him to have a nice birthday before the sulking from family begins!

Nothing yet, my medicals have been completed and uploaded so just the waiting game.

 

By the looks of the other threads 189 July/August applications are being seen now so seems to be 2 months min. before we hear anything

I completed my medicals on 24/10/2014 but when I open my on-line profile it still says "required". If I download the HAP Form it is showing completed. Do you think anything wrong with my status?

we are about to lodge our 189 application, and going through the document checklist. As we are only claiming points for age, english language and degree (giving us 60 points) does this mean the sections about partner skills and skilled employment are irrelevant to us and we don't need to send anything from these sections? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi Nursebucko,

As mentioned, that's very straightforward and standard medical check-up. I had mine this week. Blood test for HIV, chest X-ray for TB, and a pretty standard once over by the doctor looking for major pathology, height/weight, blood pressure etc.

I have just lodged tonight!! yay!! Finally, it has taken us a while, as waiting for docs but finally got there. I have front loaded all my docs, just need to arrange PCC and medicals now.

I just have a few questions, as I am abit nervous as we have done this ourselves.

 

1) I have just colour scanned all my docs, uncertified...im really hoping this is ok. As I have heard this is ok??

2) When going through the medical questionnaire, it asks if you have any mental health problems...I am on citalopram for low mood/mild depression...would that constitute as a mental health problem?? I guess it would so I need to declare yes?

3) Does my husband as second applicant need to prove his english ability other than passport?

 

Hope anyone can help with these??

Both colour scan copy or certified copy will work. I lodged on 16th Oct and uploaded some certified documents (those are available) and some colour scan copy. I hope this information helps you. Thanks.
