Hope we hear something today or tomorrow, kick off the long weekend in style!
-
We put everything in, form 80, pcc and meds. Although, we waited for the referral for the meds, only took about a week to come through.
-
Hey kmchu, I am sorry this process is taking so long for you it's not much comfort but you are still week within the DIBP guideline of 5-6 months. Recently sikofbrit and Fiji had extended waits compared to others who had applied at the same time, but they did get their visas in the end. It can't be much longer now
-
Hey Barney, there are 3 processing offices, wa vic and nsw. Some offices are a bit quicker, I think vic was having some delays recently, but it probably won't make much of a difference. 12-14 weeks seems to be the average. There is a central processing centre in nsw, but each application goes to a regional office.
-
I know kseafield, the suspense is killing me!
Thanks samsen, I'm in the wa office, hope they are busy little bees in there today!
has anyone emailed the pse today?
-
Congratulations samsen! Enjoy your celebrations, they are well deserved!
which office processed your application?
-
Monday Monday.....
come on DIBP! Show us some love this week!
Im in terrible form today, the whole world is annoying me. But I'll forgive them all if I get my visa!
how are you holding up kseafield?
-
Ok just emailed wa.pse (even though it scares the pants off me) and they are currently allocating applications lodged at the end of June
-
Guys, the dept have said themselves that they are processing applications from end of June. And anyone who applied around the 20th, it's only 12 weeks this week. I think we may start getting some news next week. The average time seems to be 12-14 weeks. Chin up everyone we'll be sipping Krystal and partying like it's 1999 in no time. That rhymes marge, and you know it rhymes!
-
It's Monday agin guys, another week closer, let's keep our heads up and our fingers crossed. I've got my bubbly chilling and my dance moves down! Let's do a roll call, see where we're at.
Nom & app lodged June 24th
meds & pcc lodged by July 21st

Some good news:
Email Updated on 10 September 2014
Please note that we are currently allocating ENS and RSMS applications that were lodged at the end of June 2014.
OH HELLS YESH MOFOS!! That's what I wanted to hear this morning!
Good to hear from from you sikofbrit, how's life on the otherside? We'll deffo be buying a new car ASAP, since we sold our old one to pay for the visa! I'm also waiting for my pr to apply for uni. I did the stat test a few weeks ago and I got a good mark, so I just need my visa now!
This is time next week maybe.......
davidexpat, do you know what processing centre is taking care of you? I believe Victoria is having some delays.
-
Me too! Tastes like success and waaaaayyyy too much champagne!
-
Sal92, you need to set up a new thread to ask people who may have experience applying for that visa subclass, most people here would have only ever held 457s and 186s. (A bit generalised, forgive me)
-
Congrats geojess! That's great news! Do you know what office your were processed through?
kseafield, you and I applied on the same day, June 24th? It's getting close for us now. It has to be
-
Delighted for you Paul! Congratulations!
-
Ooooohh that's exciting!!! Getting very close to my application date
major congrats Molly, enjoy your celebrations!
-
Well that's another week over, another week closer
question for everyone, what is the biggest difference your PR will make to your life? Be it finally being able to book flights or telling your 457 sponsor to stick it, spill it! For us, the big difference will be not having to pay the new fees for school in wa, from next year it will be $6000 per year for the two kids, really glad we will be avoiding that!
-
Paul, every wed the immi update an email with details of which applications are being allocated. If you email nsw.pse@immi.gov.au, you receive the email back. I'm not doing it, since I was audited (no big deal, they just emailed me directly to see if I was receiving it) by the dept and I said I wouldn't email anymore! Also, i think that it means the visas are being allocated to co, not necessarily being granted which is why people from arp and may still haven't received the visa grant yet.
-
Has Anyone gotten the automated email today?
congrats heyitsme, sikofbrit and Fiji, so happy your wait is over! Enjoy the celebrations!
-
Morning everyone.
sikofbrit, i really hope this is your week!
I email wa.pse, they say they are processing applications from end of May and early June, but the email was update on August 13th. Do they only update it once a week?
heres to another day down!

hi sidat congratulations on the pregnancy, hope your wife is well when your baby You register the baby and apply for a passport and then you have to add the baby to your current visa. Once the baby had been granted that visa you can go ahead and add it to your 186 application. The baby won't be illegitimately in Australia unless you are. The baby will be given an Australian birth cert on registration of birth. Your baby will automatically become an Australia citizen on its 5th birthday regardless of your visa status. Hope that helps, good luck with everything
