  1. For me if anyone interested, I have passed the 8 weeks mark since the application's date but still did not receive the test appointment.

last call to citizenship told me that I have stuck in a system technical issue, nothing to do with my application, it is pure IT problem.

IT department needs up to two weeks to solve my issue before they can book me for test.

    what a bad luck!!

  2. Hi all

    just an update:

    1. Applied 19/06/14 and uploaded all material online- online status changed to 'received and being processed'

    2. Received email on 26/06/2014 status changed to 'application being processed further

    3. Took the test today 17/07/2014 and passed

now waiting for approval and invitation to ceremony.

    good luck everyone!

    Congratulations :ssign19:

  3. Isn't that a bit out of the ordinary? I got my email test appointment 2 days after I submitted my application online, and the test was a week after. Did you try to ring them?

I did call them last week, they say it could take up to 8 eight weeks.

I am not sure if this is ordinary thing or it is a rare case

  4. I had my ceremony on Tue, online console now shows "application completed" instead of "Applicant approved".

My PR has also dropped off VEVO. Now I'm waiting for the passport to be ready...I applied on Wed, it takes about 2 weeks.

    congrats!

hope we will be in the same boat soon

  5. when i got email to sit for test on 3rd week of july my status changed to application being processed further; before that the status was ;;;processing commenced;;;; so hopefully you may receive email or letter to sit for test sooon

hope so, but nothing so far. the status changed on 04/07/2014

  6. Nothing....my wife application never shown 'application being process further'.

She received an email to sit for the test without having that status, and once she finished the test, within 24 hours the status shown 'applicant approved'

then back to waiting mode

  7. I applied in March, sat the test in April and was approved in May. My local council is having a ceremony on 31 July and it is not full. However, DIBP in its wisdom decided not to send a notification to the council in time for this ceremony (and has still not sent one), meaning I will have to wait until Australia Day 2015. Why? There are not supposed to be any quotas for citizenship so there is no need to introduce a waiting period. DIBP should notify councils straight away when they approve citizenship applications to enable people to take vacant slots on forthcoming ceremonies.

still you have time, maybe you will get it the letter soon

  8. Neither did I, should arrive in the next 1-2 weeks at the latest.

what do you mean?? you did not get an appointment for the test yet?

you applied on 03/04 that is 13 weeks of today!!!

    i don't understand :confused::confused:
