  1. Anyone from June 2014 still out there? We were requested some additional docs (to detail gap in high school and college), which we uploaded in October - but so far no idea what's holding our file and what's going on. This opaque process is so bothersome. All it says is "in progress". Our agent says its normal and there's nothing to worry.

  2. Got State PCC in USA in less than a week. Have sent it to CO ........... not sure how many more days to wait ............. again the clock starts .......... tick tock tick tock...........

Yes, our CO was allocated on 28-Aug. She asked for forms 80 & medicals. We submitted them but still no reply. Waiting .................. ugh.

  3. I think add some of each items requested, if you cannot upload all of them. And send the rest via email as an attachment, and let them know your constraints. The most they will do is reject the attachment and give you a way out of this. Equally likely, they can also accept the attachment.

Give it a shot; trying is better than not trying.

    Hope it helped.

Congratulations to everyone who got grants today, they seem to be flying out now! We lodged on 26th June and were allocated a CO last week. They have requested more evidence on my husband's employment history - bank statements, wage slips etc. The trouble is, my husband has had so many plumbing jobs in the last 8 years, due to firms going under, that we had a lot of evidence to submit. Now our Immi account won't let us upload any more, and says 'maximum number of files reached'. My husband has e-mailed the case officer (Adelaide team 8), but as yet has had no response. I've seen other threads on this site where people have had no response for 2 weeks, and I'm starting to panic!! I just wondered if there was anyone who'd been in a similar position, or knew of another way of getting the info to the case officer. We don't have a telephone number, but are thinking of just uploading all the documents in an e-mail, but are worried they won't accept this. Any advice????
  4. Congratulations, abdul!

    Hi Everyone,

Thank You. This forum had been really helpful to me. I am planning to make a first entry to Australia in the month of December. DIBP had given me 9 months to make first entry. It was a direct grant for me. I had not received any email from any case officer before the grant. So everyone who had front loaded all the documents can expect grant anytime. There was no verification call for me. Anyone who wants to ask me anything are most welcome.

  5. Hi sen05,

I have uploaded Form 80 (it took some time to complete), just in case if the CO needs it and avoid delay. I have not been assigned any CO yet. As for updating your info, then I think you can update your information as long as you have not been assigned a CO. That's according to my agent.

    Hope that helped.

    Thanks

    Yasir.

    Hi guys,

Been an avid reader on this forum, thanks to everyone who have been a regular poster on this forum.

I have got my invitation on June 6th, but yet to hear from DIMA.

Me and my wife have invested so much time and money to move to Oz. Its been more than a year's preparation to get all the necessary documents in order.

i can wait to get any communication or even a direct grant(if lucky).

Need help on two small things here:

    1. During my visa application, i forgot to add my address that i have stayed in Australia earlier, should i upload form 1023 without getting an CO?

    2. Did you guys load form 80 without the CO asking for one?

All the best to everyone here!!

  6. Hi,

My agent lodged our application on 17-June. She estimates the CO to be assigned in around 6 weeks. Front-loaded all the docs except Meds; she recommends completing the medicals after a CO has been assigned. Hopefully the wait won't be too long!

    Anyone lucky so far?
