I am so frustrated , on friday i received a mail from co

 

The visa for which you have applied is part of the Skilled Nominated category. The Migration Programme determines the maximum number of visas that can be granted in each visa category. Applications for this visa are processed in line with Migration Programme planning levels. These planning levels have precedence over indicative client service standard timeframes.

 

The Migration Programme planning level for the Skilled Nominated category now has limited number of places left for the 2013-14 program year. This means processing times will be longer and that once the remaining places are used, the Department cannot grant further visas in this category during this programme year.

As planning levels affect all applications, including those in the final stages of processing, I cannot give you an indication as to the likely timeframe for finalisation of your application.In the meantime, I encourage you to continue checking the department’s website (www.immi.gov.au) for any updates regarding application processing or changes to the Skilled Migration Programme which may affect you.

I appreciate your patience in this matter.

 

 

plz help anybody got this type of mail as this is 2nd delay mail to me.

Anyone who has applied from India for their 190?

 

We just heard from our Agent that though we had a CO assigned to us in Feb and medicals etc uploaded on 19th Feb, there is no news from the CO on why the delay.

 

Just because there were others in the same situation and their CO had written to them about the delay in process, our agent assumed the same for us.

 

We are in a tight spot as we were looking forward to travel as early as possibl. Now it is such a ambiguous state that we really dont know if this will happen or not

Why, why, why, why are people who lodged in February getting their visa grants before us January people?????:arghh::confused:

There are applicants who lodged their visa in December and stilll waiting ... :-(

Latest news, for me at least, is that for 190 visas there is a capping, so I'll get the visa most probably next financial year; my file is decision ready (mail got from C/O), meaning that everything is OK, so I have no worries now, as I was planning to go in September anyway. So, I have to get everything ready, and I hope I'll get the visa before 15th of July

Can you please share your CO team details and also the timelines. Can you also paste the original email that was sent to you(if possible). Also is it that CO sent you the mail or you got a reply for your followup email?

@weaz -sorry to hear the news of the "delay email" being sent to you. Waiting is hard enough, but to have the waiting time extended is frustrating.

 

Seems to be folk that have applied for State Sponsprship for SA and WA that are receiving the email.

 

Has anybody out there applying for Victoria State Sponsorship received the dreaded "delay email"???

I applied for NSW, CO allocated on Feb 4th.. Got the DELAY Email.. Brisbane 34 team.

One of the user posted in another forum that he has been granted visa.. below are his timelines. Things seem to be moving but at slow pace.

I got the 190 grant today morning. Just now I checked my eamil and come to know about that. My timelines are below.

Occupation : 263111

State Sponsership : WA - 11-Dec-13

Invitation : 11-Dec-13

Visa Lodge: 27-Dec-13

PCC: 7-Jan-14

Medical - 01-Mar-14

CO Assigned - 20-Feb-14

No contact from CO, I only emailed him but got the visa limited email.

Grant email : 31-Mar-14

I emailed CO asking about delay and she said the RSM limits is being reached so apps are being queued tho 190 would have first pref.

 

And from other threads I picked up that once quota is reached the we have to wait till the new allocation which is released at the beginning of the year on 1 July

If the pending visa applications are to be considered only after the July 1st, and assuming there are some changes to the rules(in terms of points/eligibility criteria) so on...

Do we have to re-apply or would our applications be considered only if we meet the new eligibility criteria(if any major changes)..

Do anyone of you know what was case during March 2013 and July 2013.

I remember that few ACS applications(applied in Apr-June 2013) were sent back for review as the rules were changed in July 2013.

Any idea on this?

I too have the same timelines Submitted visa on 15th Dec.. CO allocated 4th Feb.. Class 190 Visa. submitted additional docs(pcc+med) by Feb 10th.. Brisbane 34 "AM".. Waiting...

Lodged my Visa 190 subclass on 15th Dec. CO allocated on 4th February. Submitted the PCC and medicals on Feb 13th. Waiting since then... Is there anyone who lodged their application during this period and got their visa sanctioned?
