I want to express my deepest gratitude to all of you for everything, for all the time you have dedicated to me reading my posts, for all your precious advice and opinions and most importantly, for all your sincere wishes. Well all being well house shud b done in the next few weeks then we were thinking September as I have my grans 80th birthday end of August but we now keep talking about going sooner. X

Yeah selling our house here, yes I have one boy who is 7 and two girls 8 and 1. We are all moved out, living with my parents as house should complete any day now! I know that feeling of a house being full! We currently have 7 of us in a 3 bed house. I. Used to just us in a 4 bed house!

When do you hope to go when house is finished up?

Not yet . Soon as house has completed that's the first thing I'll be doing! We are heading to Gold Coast but my brother is heading to Perth! He got his visa this week too!

If you look at the above link applicants before 3 march have been allocated toa CO. also as you have front loaded Medicals and police checks you may not be contacted by a co unless they require further info. Listen to your agent that's what your paying them for.

Yes I understand that, but what I am trying to understand is people who have lodged the 14th of march, same date as me and even in May are been granted.

Contacting the Department will not achieve anything as in most cases you will not be contacted until a decision is made on your application.

 

If you have an Agent and you contact the Department yourself, you run the risk that the Department will list you as the new point of contact and your Agent will then be out of the loop and receive no further communication in regards to your application.

 

13 weeks is not an excessive time for a 189.

Hi I have been posting on this forum since lodging our 189 visa, we are living in Ireland and what I am looking to know is, if contacting immi(when we have a agent)about status of our visa, could this be of any harm to the application? As our agent recommended we shouldn't, we have been waiting 13 weeks since lodging and have no contact!

That would be great if it was true, everyone's case seems to be different with getting grants, personally we have lodged ours 13 weeks ago this wedensday and still no contact at all, good luck with the rest o your journey
