hi just moved to the gold coast i am based in broadbeach and i am looking for someone who would like a round of golf and a pint after, not played any courses here yet so open to offers
Just to revive an old thread .... Same problem for me ... just arrived on Gold Coast and left golf buddies behind
So would love to hear from anyone who would like a social game of golf and maybe a pint afterwards would be brilliant. I am a 'young 50' something living the good life hence available anytime for a game
Look forward to hearing from like minded golfers

Hi
I applied last Wednesday for the PMV, now begins the long wait  I have read that they usually take the money straight away but as yet no sign on my CCard, Fiancé is already stressing.
Patience ... its a long wait ... the clock starts ticking when they receive the Visa application and they dont take the money immediately Good Luck
-
Thank you for your replies guys. I called my CO and he said the wait is 9 months and that he will contact me if he needs to. An hour later i received the GRANT letter via email!!!! We are over the moon! Still cannot believe it!!
Excellent pleased for you. But is that just 6 months one week?
-
Excellent. Pleased for you

I think both of your posts 'pumpkin' and 'BestyBlue' are very informative and i am sorry if 'Victoria67' does not take on board the information you are trying to impart to her. Wise words for free. I am sure many readers will be grateful for these.

I wanna hear people having their visa granted!! It has been soooo quiet on here recently! I'm at the 8 month 3 week mark today!!! Grrrrr C'mon!
Look on the bright side any new applications have to wait 10-14 months ... but fingers crossed for you all

My PMV was granted 28 July 2014- I had to go offshore so had 4 days in Auckland.
Now I'm looking for a job :-)

I can tell you who not to use if you PM me! (can't say on open forum! Suffice to say, 16 weeks and counting, and Australia, the 'country they ship the most to' still hasn't seen our stuff! try explaining THAT to a 3 year old when they ask where their toys are! It was one of the more popular ones mentioned on here before too!
Why cant you name and shame? Facts are facts and the bad guys (or ones we need to be wary off) need to be avoided. Surely they have only themselves to blame?

Yes, mine said not allocated for nearly 12 months before i got an email saying they were processing. After that took a few weeks ( about a year in total). This was back in March this year. Hope this helps.
Ps. Tried ringing them initially after five months and was told perfectly normal, just wait ...
