  1. Im hoping to be applying for 189 visa next year and starting to get documents together ready. My agent has advised me to get ready 3-4 payslips for every year of employment up to ten years as I'm claiming. Or p60 for every year of the 10 years. She said that inland revenue can provide replacements of these if lost.

Ive done one reference for ten years as been in same job.

Thank you. I have P60's 2010-2015 so I still will need 2006-2009. I have asked payroll for copies but I've not received them yet. Also wondering if I need to have them certified or will DIBP accept the copies.

  2. I would guess as long as you can prove the work experience for the points that you claim you are ok, and I am guessing you are claiming 5 points so you can easily do this?

If you are claiming points for all 8 years maybe send an email to the old HR department to be safe? I think you can go to HMRC and get 6 years of data.

I'm claiming 8 years. I'll send HR an email tomorrow and hopefully they will be able to help me. Thanks for your help :)

  3. I am not at this stage yet but I have got 1 payslip for all employees ready, I do not think this is required but I have read that people have been asked for this, in some instances up to 10 years back.

Yeah I have read that recently. I have been in the same job for 5 years so I don't have old pay slips. Should I try to get copies of old P60's? Or just wait and see?

I'm also waiting to be invited by DIBP.

  4. Just so you know RCN will not cover you in Australia, they changed their indemnity insurance policy recently. I had assumed they did (they use to) but if you go and read the latest documents it is not covered.

Ah I see, RCN covered me 2013-2014. Thanks for pointing it out. I'm just waiting to be invited to apply for the 189 visa.

  5. Hello!! After months if trying to get letters and certs/transcripts and getting them all signed I am finally ready to send it all off to AHPRA but I just have one question I need help with... q.21 on the form AGOS-40

'do you commit to have appropriate professional indemnity insurance arrangements in place for all practice undertaken during the registration period'

I have in pencil ticked yes- but I actually have no idea what this means :err: Is this something I should already have?????

Are you registered with the RCN? They will cover you in Australia? My first agency I worked for in Australia included indemnity insurance whilst I was employed by them. Where are you sending your application? I would avoid sending it to Sydney or Melbourne. I sent my application to Perth and it took 6 weeks to process. Good luck :)

  6. Depends if you are claiming points for work experience if you need refs/statement of service or not..I didn't. ..I didn't include transcript just degree cert as was claiming points for that

Thanks. Yes I am claiming points for experience. I have my uni transcript so I will include it with my degree certificate.
