Dear All ,

I am starting this thread and request all electrical engineers that are currently employed , looking for and intend to come Brisbane & Perth to seek career. The basic purpose is to get a first hand knowledge about opportunities there and nature of Jobs. My humble request is to those specially that are already employed to share job openings and any casual /part time jobs that are available related to basic/electrical engineering.

PS: Also mention what short/technical courses would be an added advantage for this market.

You need to call 1300 794 919 within 28 days of arrival into Australia. They will explain what you have to do next.

 

You must enter before 28th April 2016, or your visa will be cancelled.

 

The health undertaking also explains the delay in getting your grant.

Is it Ok or a thing to worry about ? I had my chest xray here and checked the report with my surgeon here . Acc to him ,its OK. I was 11 years old when this problem occured and currently I dont hav any health issues (Physically or Mentally)

Nope!I just had a minor liver infection which was well cured and only traces are left which is similar like a burnt mark left according to my doctors.

815 is the health undertaking. That's why you must enter before 28th April. You must register on arrival for the health undertaking.

so it is because of 815 that my arrival date is early ? and how to register ?

PCC on 12th oct and medicals were uploaded on 19th october. Can i write an email to DIBP about this?

no yet! last time CO sent me email was on 12th Nov.

No idea friend. Actually if you have carefully read form 80 , it says all gaps /unemployment period need to be updated with reasons/answers. For financial support , they asked me only for bachelor studies which i explained to them.

Dear All ,

Can you please advise me whether I should contact with Brisbane Team and inquire the current status of my application. My medicals appeared on 22nd oct on Immi Account and since then I was asked for form 815 , CV and some other docs (Mostly repeated). The last Time I replied to Brisbane was on 12th Nov and after that there is no news (Except for some additional info from skilled support which I replied on 15th Dec). If I count from the medicals then its 3 months already. Actually , I have received a job offer from a very good firm and now I am bemused whether to join or not as I have plans to move to Auusie Land as soon as I receive my grant letter and I dont wanna ruin my resume (stating that I worked only for couple of months).

PS: Is there any benefit of contacting them, ?

Applied on Aug 10, first CO contact on Oct 24, again on Nov 20, grant today
