but it was about my 457 visa application one year ago

I am not sure whether it is the same with 186 visa

Update nomination granted this morning from Perth but I actually submitted in pramatta both nomination and application together .i hope pr will come soon now :-)

Just a small update nomination and visa lodged 6 dec 2013 Ens 186 transition stream (parmatta) NDR through MA

co assigned 12 march

co requested for more documents on 19 march

all requested documents submitted in 3 hours on 19 th march same day fingers crossed now :-)

Shobi777, can you ask your employer to try to chase up nomination?

They donot care I have asked them before they said to me just wait when immi will finish process they will send it to us nothing else ,I spoke to my MA and he said to me wait 2 more weeks and then he will try to contact immigration

Thanks Tracey ,I am just losing hope now ,people who applied same date as mine and same office had got co 2 weeks ago not only 1 a few people as I know but I have not heard anything :-(

Visa approved today, here is my timeline

 

Nomination lodged 20th November 2013

Visa application 8th February 2014

Nomination approved 18th February 2014

Visa approved 6th March 2014

Shobi777, do you not have your nomination approved yet? My case officer for nomination is the same as for application, so if so, try contacting case officer on nomination approval

Hey tracey no nomination has not approved yet ,and I lodged both applications same day ..

3 months gone today and havenot heard even a single word from department ,status is still in progress and people who applied with me on same day and same office got co 10 days a ago and I am still waiting so annoyed today :-(

I know I am getting crazy day by day after listing that people who have applied after us they start getting approvals and we even donot have info what going on with our cases,it just makes me crazy cannot wait to get over from this

yeah, last week i saw a bunch of people who had applied after me had their PR approved. i wish there was some sort of indication of how DIBP approached these. from talking to my MA, it's clear he has no idea but I don't think that's his fault. DIBP said they were scrapping decision-ready in favor of processing applications in the order in which they were received, but they are clearly not doing that. i can't believe they are processing December applications when October applicants are awaiting COs. baffling...

So annoying!! I lodged 6 November and all the November ones are overtaking mine....i'm taking it as a good sign that they don't need anything else from me (although I didn't lodge DR) - although really I am panic stricken haha.

i am am panic too because I was thinking my case was lodged as DR but later my lawyers told me that they could not lodge as DR because from 6 dec it's not anymore I am bit annoyed because my mate lodged as DR on 6 December and I donot know how and he has got co and I have not heard anything

bah, they still need to finish the november ones! no, that is obviously good news for december folks but the seemingly randomness of how DIBP gets through these applications is so frustrating

I know its frustrating ,me and my mate we applied same day on 6 dec 2013 ens 186 transition stream in parmatta ,and now his case has been allocated to co and his co asked for more documents from his employer hope he will submit today but I havenot heard anything yet hope some news soon and also I heard that pramatta has transferred most of their cases to melboure and Perth office those who belongs to October

Small news I heard this morning pramatta office already start processing december 2013 cases

Is it technically correct that DR applications are considered first? I lodged my 186 non-dr on 6 November and my friend lodged on 8 November for same visa but DR, they had a request for missing information last week (which is a good sign as at least it's being looked at!).

 

I haven't heard a thing. This normal??

I donot think they do preference DR now as Its going to be normal process but you donot worry I hope you will get a good new this week too

My ENS 186 is through labour agreement. Nomination was lodged on 20th November, and approved 18th February through the Parramatta office. I submitted application 8th February, but am about to book medicals ready so hopefully decision will be quicker. There is a case officer on the nomination approval, does anyone know if this is the case officer for application as well?

So annoyed today it's been 2.5 months and application status is still in progress havenot heard even a single word from department seems like they are very lazy people and even have not seen any ens 186 approvals for last 2 weeks :-(

i think it should not take long because you already have co as they mentioned on papers ,I would say it should be done in 6 to 8 weeks but now a days they are really slow and also melbourne is the busiest place I can be delay but let's hope it will be finish in 8 weeks ,as I applied as dc through MA in dec on 6 but I have not heared anything yet even they havenot start December Cases

My nomination for 186 visa is approved on 15 Jan 2014

and then I submitted the 186 application on 5 Feb and got the acknowledge letter on 7 Feb 2014

there is a case officer name on the 6th page of the acknowledge letter.

I wonder whether it means I get a case officer for my application?:GEEK:

My nomination was submitted on 26 November, application - 27 November, all documents uploaded. Heard nothing since then, the online ImmiAccount shows both are "in progress", and the medical links remain uncleared.

 

Just patiently wait in the hope that no news will be good news eventually...
