Hello guys, we are still waiting. On Saturday it will be 2 months since we lodged visa... I know tommorow is an ANZAC day, so they have public holiday.

I can't understand why it is soooo long to check my husband's meds.

It looks like DIBP tries to comply with 3 month period for 189 visa. So, i will pray it will happen within this period, till end of May

majbauddin, I guess it is better to ask migration agent about your case. But if you are not sure that you can get this 5 points, you can wait for 60 days, while your invitation to apply expires. Since DIBP may give you a visa refusal as well as ban for 3 years to apply for messleading and incorrect information. However, if your occupations are closely related, based on tasks performed (I'm not specialists in your occupations), and you have supporting docs to prove it - than apply for 189.

Personnaly I worked as an accountant 2 years, than external audit 2 years and now budgeting - but assessment authority considers these occupations as relevant.

I can't understand why it is sooo difficult to check our meds. If extra tests are required - then ask us about or just let us go. I wonder whether our CO checked other docs, or she is waiting for medicals to continue...

Meercat, can you please tell how to check status in Medibank? We checked our meds in eMedical and saw that our results were sent to DIBP. Is there any possibility to check progress?
