Hi all,

Prepration has begun to leave my home town for better future.

Resign from beloved job. My boss was very sad cause dedicated hardworking employ is leaving.

House in on sale,hopefully we will wind up everything very soon but it is too much of a hassle

acknowledgment date :13/08/2012

CO appointed :18/12/2013

medical :31/12/2013

PCC sent:14/01/2014

AOS accepted by Centrelink :19/02/2014

Since then heard nothing from the department.

If they have not halted the 143 visa,what other reason is that I have not heard anything from them for so long. May be they have finished quota for remainder of the year who knows????

Still waiting for Request for second payment ?????????????????? Good luck to those who think process has picked up speed, not in my case.

Can anyone explain AOS process in detail . How long it take from start to finish . To me it seems very long and slow process . We have done with our medical on 31/12/2013 and department have received our police check on 14/01/2014 . We got our case officer on 18/12/2013 and still struggling to get through AOS process. Our date of application was 29/06/2012 and date of acknowledge was 13/08/2012. Hope somebody will explain AOS process for CPV 143. Thanks in advance.

Hi Genie1,

Hope everything is is well with you. We have done our medical on 30/12/2013. PCC,form 80,form 47a and dependency form for my younger son have been received by the department on 14/01/2014. Only thing remaining is AOS. My sponsor which is my older son, just come back to Australia from his three week vacation. Hope he do this by this week. Getting closer to the end of this long waited journey. Can't wait to end this waiting game.

I can feel your pain.I feel very sorry for you. I wish you a good luck with your process to move to Australia, but things are not going right for you. My advice is to contact the department and find out what is going on.

Is 16/08/2012 your acknowledgement or lodgment date,please check. It takes 16 months after acknowledgement date.in my opinion you will get CO in early February. Wish you a good luck with your process to move to Australia.

Congratulation for case officer,medical,PCC etc. I got all this on 18/12/2013. Applied for PCC on 21/12/2013. Medical done on 30/12/2013. Waiting for the results.Hope everything is fine.

Your calculations are wrong because our lodgment date is June 29th 2012 and we have not heard anything from immigration department yet. We are worried and frustrated. We are in dark now have no idea when our process will be finalize. It has been 17 months and 5 days since our lodgment. They have not assigned a case officer for us. As you said it take 2-3 months once we got case officer. Assume as if we got our case officer today still it would be 20 month from the date of lodgment. So you have to redo your calculations. Thanks.
