Is there many of you still waiting 6 Months or more for your 186 nomination or 186:unsure:visa application to be approved ?

My nomination and also the visa application itself was lodged in June 2013 (Direct entry route).

I have heard nothing from immigration, no case officer news, my employer has heard nothing regarding my nomination since lodgement. I was really expecting news before Christmas as I have everything front loaded within a week of lodging the 186 application (including medicals and police checks). So are there many more out there that have heard nothing, especially any June 2013 applicants or earlier than June 2013 ?

I did on 6 june , and got my nomination approved on 18 dec and may CO said my be by next week

I will get visa , but next week is christmas fingercrossed and was melbourne office

Hi all, received email from my MA this morning. He has been in touch with the CO who has confirmed they received the updated docs we sent and he will review them by Friday 20 Dec. So fingers crossed we should hear SOMETHING on Friday.... Will keep you posted. Keep positive people..

Can you not contact DIBP because their own service standards for this visa are 6 months. Surely if they exceed this they can provide you an update?

I ask my MA but he said there is no time frame , and he said no one file had opened who applied after may

It's been over 5 and a half months since my nomination was lodged. Anyone else in the same boat?

6 month 5 days still waiting melboure office sucks , this wait is ruinning my thousands plans :goofy:

Yes I used the Melbourne office. Nomination app on 26/06/13 and was approved on 05/09/13. Applied for the visa on 06/09/13 frontloaded police checks, did medicals a week later, front loaded Form 80 and I received the visa grant on 20/11/13. there was no communication from CO. so total from Nomination app to visa grant took about 5 months. If you haven't done things like Form 80 or medicals, I suggest you just get them done because you will need to do them

Congratulations and thanks for your information , we did throughMA and did all police check medicals everything but stil taking so long frustrating, and haven't heard much from melbourne

Any one from melb office got their visa , 6 month and still waiting :arghh:
