Hi Isabel.
It's true, Some applicants have got their visa earlier than 6 months.
So far reading at so many blogs , immigration web sites, MA blogs. There are so many things apply to processing all the ENS applicants such as,
Visa Office Location - Melbourne - Busier , Sydney -2nd busier , Perth - Not that busy
Country of residence of applicant - is it from High Risk or Low risk Country - Low risk country applicants are the priority
Occupations : Professionals ( Priority ) , Trades ( 2nd Priority)
Application lodged during end of their immigration year where they have to make reports etc... which is end of june - there are piles of applications submitted in june 2013 due to visa fees increase.
Type of Application : Decision ready or normal
Documents attached with applicaiton : All the docs are submitted as required or missing some
Medical , Form 80 , PCC , IELTS uploaded in advance
Case officer : Half way to holidays while processing the application - Case office asked for docs but not submitted on time.
MA: Responding to the case officer not quickly.
A part from all there could be lot more we don't know what's happening at the Immigration Departments.
What we can do is Hope for the best ... Good Luck to All applicants.

It seems everyone's applications are frozen at this stage. It looks like we are complaining but we are not aware of how many applications would have lodged before 30th june 2013 because of the visa fees increase.
we all just have to wait and figures crossed..
let's wait for few more months.

Hi.I have been reading this forum and just thought to share my case .I am on the same boat as you guys are.Applied for 186 on 13 June 2013 ,received Acknowledgement letter same day.
We lodge the application in Victoria office. Haven't heard anything after.
I tried to ask my MA and rang +email Immi. But they said it will take 6 months minimum. Also they said it may take longer because of hip of application.
I was not happy after their reply its already been 17 weeks (130 days ).it shouldn't be taking too long ,its DRC but who knows whats going on....I have read some of the threads they applied in july and got their residencies in September...I don't know what to do...its just the waiting time killing me...
If we have applied Like DRC does that mean we will not have any CO??please let me know if any ones knows .Also if any one can suggest whats currently processing time period for 186...that will be great...Good luck to all
