Today evening I received 186 grant email from my MA.

Here are my timelines:

DIAC Office: Parramatta

Visa Stream: 457 Transition Stream

Visa and Nomination Lodged: 26/07/2013 (MA/DRC)

Acknowledgement Received: 26/07/2013

Visa and Nomination Grant: 14/11/2013 (Total 111 Days)

From lodgement to grant, no communications... Status through out this period was "In Progress"...

Oh that's bit strange.... because Petkula73 also lodged in Melbourne office on 20th August 2013 and got grant today....

I have loddged mine in Paramatta on 15th October .

 

Not sure on the grant for 5th Sep where he loddged it ?

May be some other office... other offices seems to be bit faster... Parramatta seems to be bit slower... may be too many applications...

But from timeline perspective, none of the offices seems to follow a date based sequence in assigning the CO to process the applications.... the applications are probably grouped by occupation and/or country of origin etc... As I have seen one of the applications lodged on same day as me at Parramatta and got grant in mid-October and another one lodged in August and got grant in October.

So trying to guess from someone else's grant date may not be very helpful... but it will help keep the hopes up :daydreaming:... I suppose..

I just received my 'Nomination Approval Notification' email!

 

Updated Timeline:

Nomination and Visa Application lodged together: 19th July 2013

Acknowledgement Receipt: 19th July 2013

Nomination Approval: 5th November 2013

Transition Stream / Parramatta Office / MA / Non-DRC

 

Fingers crossed the visa is granted soon and good luck to everyone else waiting patiently (the wait is horrendous!)

Hi jack2077, I applied as Management Consultant - 224711. Actually just checked now and I got my grant letter!!!

 

Therefore:

Ens 186 DRC through MA

457 transition

Sydney Parramatta

Application Lodged 26th July 2013

Visa grant 19-Oct (85 days)

Job code: management consultant

My immigration agent gave me a wonderful news today . Here is my timeline:

 

Visa and Nomination application : 15 August ( myself and my wife , DRC, MA.)

Permanent Resident : 18th October

 

God was really kind and the posts from this forum kept my hopes alive . Thank you so much .

 

TO all of you , especially who applied after 1st July - be patient and keep visiting this forum . You are nearly there.

My application was also lodged on 26th July 2013, 186 DRC through MA, 457 transition and lodged at Parramatta office. Received acknowledgement on 26th July. Since then no update.... all it says is In Progress :-(

Do you mind sharing under which occupation you have applied for? Mine is under ICT Business Analyst.
