hi everyone I am new here.
Any one know what different use immi and vevo to submit visa application?
And how long the average time if submit after 22NOV2014
Thanks
I submitted on the 21st November. Meaning you're 85 days into your wait. The average wait time is roughly 120 days.

I'd be keen to know where the applications were granted.
I live in Qld but my visa is being processed by Perth, not really sure how that works?
Hmm I thought that's what the column was. I didn't realise they process them in a different state than where you live or emigrating too etc
-
Guys, I'm wonder whether to add an additional "state" column (NSW, Qld, SA, Tas., Vic., WA). I see some October applicants being granted before September and I wonder if it's due to the state they will/are be living in?
Might remove the ENS\RSMS column too. Don't see the point in that.
Thoughts?
Congrats to Josh

Whoever is CPB on the spreadsheet, can you please check your dates? Nom app submitted after your visa app. I don't think that's right?

Visit http://bit.ly/1Gfs4qI and add your entry please.

That means those we applied earlier then it will be more then 6month of normal processing time!!! It is not fair!!!!
We can't be certain of processing times, and as we've seen a small number of grants occur in the past few days I don't think it's as bad as you mention. Let's wait and see. Are your details on the spreadsheet?

Hi byronsmith,
as you mentioned new system after 22nd November!!!!what is this about?i lodged my nom and application on 15th October.so am I affected with the new system or not?
thanks
Hi Sumon, please take a look at the spreadsheet, you'll see a notice about ICSE. Basically, any applications submitted on or after the 22nd November will be processed using the ICSE (Integrated Client Services Environment) whereas, previously they were using the GVP (General Visa Portal). I can't say for certain what impact that will have on processing speeds, however, it is known that some applications after the 22nd November will be processed before older applications. We believe this is because of internal training.
-
Congrats Gem!!
It seems you have been processed by the small team working on the new system.
It also means this team is not only processing applications lodged after 22nd Nov when the new system was implemented but also picking random applications from before that.
Enjoy your time in Australia, Cheers
The new system is for applications after the 22nd Nov, Gem lodged on the 16th Oct.
FWIW, I spoke with my MA and also noted that the ICSE message we all saw is in fact prioritising applications prior to Nov 22nd. So the new system will be a slower queue even though they are processing some before the older applications. I think were the lucky ones the more I think about is CSI :-)

True that! Was starting to panic ever so slightly. Your news didn't help this morning either Do we think that's a bit of glorified headlining or is that a legit source of news?
Enjoy Caterinoz. Thanks for updating the spreadsheet.

Hi everyone,
Does anyone know why the spreadsheet isn't working anymore? It's giving reference errors... This is what I'm using - http://bit.ly/1Gfs4qI
It seems that someone got a little bit careless and trigger happy. They deleted all the data and associated graphs.
Luckily google docs has revision history and I was able to restore back to an earlier copy. Let's hope its only a one time event.
I've made a synced offline copy in the event we need to reupload.
Cheers
Byron

Does anyone know if there is a list that contains how many ENS 186 visas where applied for, and granted/refused, over the course of last year? Obviously our spreadsheet is only a very small percentage of what really is being processed, but it would be nice to see what sort of percentage that is.

hi all,
i am following this thread from a long time,
i lodge my nomination and visa application on 9 October 2014,
still waiting,
i just wondering is anyone get their nomination approved, who lodge in october,
or how long they gonna take
They are still working on September, it's all very quiet on the visa grant side of things.
According to the spreadsheet, you can probably expect your visa in 113 days on average but that number is climbing very fast, so best not get to excited :-) You're going to have to test your patience for a little while longer, as we all are.
Keep an eye on the spreadsheet and you'll know more. Cheers

I was in the DIBP office this morning and overheard some other woeful visa tales while waiting so I'm thankful that I'm not in their boats either!
Would you mind sharing? When you say woeful tales.. Do you mean for the DIBP staff or for the applicants?
-
Hi, if you could please add me to spreadsheet as well. Nomination an visa both lodged on 8th October. The waiting is a killer.
Done. When you get your results please update the appropriate columns yourself for the benefit of others. Its publically editable.

Hi Byron
Thanks for the fantastic effort with the spreadsheet.
Makes it easier for all of us to keep track. Cheers.
My pleasure, happy to help where I can, as there is nothing worse than guessing and waiting. Glad to see another November clan member.
-
Well...I took the liberty to update it, and don't worry about looking at number ticking by every day...all of us waiting for sure do it as well...even the ones who just applied, I'm sure
Cheers
What a gem, thanks for your assistance. Looks like we will be celebrating together. One day apart!

hello guys, very happy to say that we have been granted our PR today morning 10:00am. hurrayyyyyy very happy verry very happy, after a very long wait
for 4 months and 13 days we got our PR.
Congrats.Time to relax now. Thanks for keeping your information updated on the spreadsheet. It's very useful information. Problem is, although I know I have 50+ days to go, I can't stop looking at the number tick by every day...
-
Wondering where my nomination is now.... getting that bad feeling in the pit of my stomach....
PM1111 took 149 days for their nomination. Give it a few more days and see?
-
No problem I added you. As everyone has edit permissions, you may update your dates as and when you receive them.

Hi Byron
this thread is related to 186 applications - in my opinion it would confuse people to have 187 on there too - overload of info they should make their own and I understand RSMS get priority over ENS.
I hear what you're saying. Lets play it by ear, I've added the column. If we find there are loads of RSMS applicants we will separate them out.
-
Question, do you think it'll be a good idea to add a ENS/RSMS column to the spreadsheet (http://bit.ly/1Gfs4qI)? At the moment I _think_ it's only ENS 186 people but I wonder if it's worth knowing if there are RSMS 187 people in there too? I know the processing time for each is 6 months but is there an order of preference between the two?
Or perhaps they should have their own sheet?

It's a forum for South Africans moving to Australia:
Excellent! I'll find my way over there then. Durban boy here living in London, now off to Aus.
