Got my visa today too I emailed last night to chase and got my grant email this morning so happy!!!!!!!

What is the number to call immi on?

the waiting is killing me! I don't understand how the visa's are being granted either seems v random!!! argh!!

received an email this morning from skillselect saying there was a message in our skillselect account - with a link to www.skillselect.gov.au. As we are going through an agent do not have our username /password. Anyone else had this message? what does it mean?

my visa agent visa bureau is constantly on voicemail so I can't even check with them argh!!!

last we heard from immi back in March was application was decision ready but got the dreaded delay email

pc and meds loaded 23 march received delay email 5 days later but said our case is decision ready.... Still waiting

We got our CO who requested meds and pc as soon as we sent these back they replied immediately with delay email.

forgot to add CO requested PC and meds we didn't front load them

Not good news. I've been build my hopes up that we would hear soon, and that it was mainly SA and WA that have been receiving the email. We haven't received any email yet, so still keeping fingers crossed that there may be some positive movement soon

 

What occupation have you got sponsorship for?

We had the delay email and we are going to Victoria

@weaz -sorry to hear the news of the "delay email" being sent to you. Waiting is hard enough, but to have the waiting time extended is frustrating.

 

Seems to be folk that have applied for State Sponsprship for SA and WA that are receiving the email.

 

Has anybody out there applying for Victoria State Sponsorship received the dreaded "delay email"???

Anyone had a grant yet?

meds and pc done co said its decision ready but we are in a queue may have to wait to 01 July 14. It appears everybody is being asked for meds and pc and then the same thing is happening to them

I don't know, did you get the email about prioritising visa apps and us possibly having to wait until 01 July?

We have completed meds and pc and are waiting due to delays too. Same team as you guys CO - JL

We too lodged the visa 15 Jan, CO 26 th Feb, requested Medicals and PCC. We sent PCC, but delayed Medical because of the pregnancy. We have nor received any e-mail from CO about delays. Did you get the e-mail from the agent, or the CO ? I really do think they will issue us all visas in before July.

It came from the CO we have team 33 Brisbane JL. I think we have drawn the short straw and will have to wait. I called my agent who said to assume I won't hear until 01 July 14. I asked if she had received any 190 grants for others waiting (who lodged around the same time as me) and she said no.

Will keep you posted, would be especially interested to see if anyone gets the grant after receiving the email from CO about delays

have a CO and uploaded my meds and police checks on Wednesday now received an email to say there are delays in the visa processing and my agent thinks it is likely that we won't get our grant until 01 July 2014 at the earliest argh!!!

Has anyone else received this message and then received a grant at a later date?

I don't understand why meds and police checks were requested if they can't grant a visa??

Found out today I have a CO

Hi there, we're hoping to eventually go down the 190 route - my husband is currently compiling the documents for his skilled assessment - and I wanted to check if anyone else has specified their old salary on previous employment references...? He's already been in contact with his old employers and they've already typed them up so we don't want to have to go back to them now and ask for them to amend them and resend them! Is it really necessary and if so, why?!

I'm pretty sure ours did specify wages but I don't know if that is definitely required. We have an agent who has helped us through the process hopefully somebody else will be able to tell you for certain

Still waiting for a CO here, lovely news to hear visa's being granted.

We are waiting for a CO until we do police checks and medicals so may be a while yet until we fingers crossed get our visa granted we will be off to VIC

submitted on 1 nov 13 and heard we our application was successful on 6 dec 13 so v quick for us

So pleased finally lodged our 190 visa application today, now the waiting game begins....

just wondering what are the current processing times from tra, got acknowledgement letter on 24th september that they received our skills assessment but still waiting too hear back. heard a few rumours that there is a backlog does anyone know about this?

We sent ours on 27 August and got a positive skills assessment by 09 Oct 13

After browsing through this forum for a while I thought it was time to submit a post. We are in the process of obtaining a 190 Visa and would like some advice from people already in Melbourne as to who they used for their initial holiday rental.

What areas would you recommend for a long term rental? We have a 16 month old Daughter and I would like to rent a modern home if possible with access to amenities, good transport links in an area good for young families. I am pretty open to areas not expecting to be in THE best area up and coming areas are fine as long as they are safe and good for children.

Have looked at lots of different areas online but find it confusing as I need some opinions from people who are actually living there with honest views.
