  1. She is the applicant, and has to make the application. You are her sponsor. If she applies offshore its 309/100 if she applies onshore its 820/801

    1) Definitely, she is the applicant but can we lodge the application online or it has to be a paper one ?

    2) Which form we should refer should be 47sp or 40sp, aprt from 309/100?

    3) Do I need to show fund as I will sponsor my wife?

  2. If you were in a relationship before you entered Australia did you declare your relationship?

Thanks a lot for all the suggestions.

No I was not in a relation with her when I applied for the visa.

So if I go for the partner visa from offshore then I can submit the application online or I have to submit the papers to New Delhi ?

For offshore what type of visa would be for her 309/100 or 820 ?

  3. Hi All,

I am from India. I got my visa(189) in November 2014. I had my first entry for 3 days in June 2015 then I went to Brisbane in April 2016 for a month. Now I am going permanently to Brisbane as I got a good job.

I will go to Australia in August 2016 and my wife will come in October 2016 with visit visa. I will apply 12 months visit visa for her so that she can get at least 6 month's stay at a stretch.

Then I am planning to apply for her PR within Australia. As she will be there with me during that time.

    I have these following questions.

    1) As she will be with me in Australia with visit visa so can I apply for her PR during her stay in Australia as within Australia application ?

    2) What subclass it will be then ? Can I apply online ?

    3) Can she stay with me in Australia until she gets a decision for her PR application, irrespective of her visit visa ?

    4) Is there a possibility of interview for her ?

  4. Hi all.

We just awoke to find our visas were granted overnight. It seems what @AdamSarah83 says about 8 weeks is totally correct. That's a visa for @robley and me and our 3 kids and our dog.

We had an invitation to apply on the 7th September.

We lodged in 15 September. Front loaded everything except medicals. We did our medicals in the 28th October. These take about a week to process.

I don't think anyone looks at any cases until the EOI period expires (60 days), but after that it all seems pretty rapid.

We didn't have any contact with a CO, just a pile of emails this morning. We also did this ourselves without an agent, although we paid a consulting fee for help us get our EOI right, just to get our heads straight on what to apply for points wise.

Hope you all get yours soon

PS - we too didn't do or get asked for a form 80.

Congrats mate. what was your skill ?

  5. hello folks

i have just been assigned a case officer and have been asked to provide medicals (doing today)and PCC for Australia as well as the UK

just a note for people, if you have spent more than 12 months in a country in the last 10 years you need a police check for that country, hence why i need to provide an ozzy one as i am on shore and was here for 12 months in 2012,

was not aware but now you all are so don't let this delay your application if you need to do it

    cheers

    adam and sarah

    Please share your timeline

  6. Hey everyone

    keighley

I am so excited and happy for you. So it took finally 3 months. Best of luck for your future in OZ.

  7. Guys I have one doubt,

My first employer from India sent me to Canada in deputation. for the year 2009 and 2010. So as employment reference, I have provided my Canadian work permit, certified deputation letter, last six months' notarized/certified payslips and certified tax slips for the 2 years.

    1) Are these evidence enough as I do not have my Canadian bank's statement and payslip for all the months ?

    2) I have certified my Canadian payslips (6 months) and tax slips(2009 and 2010) from my current city in India. Is that fine ?

    Please reply

  10. Hi everyone

big congrats to everyone that has received their grants over the past few days :) hopefully it's not long for the rest of us

i am still yet to hear anything, there's been many sleepless nights lately hehe

    xxxx

You are right, I am literally counting each and every day. Donno when I will get :arghh:

  11. A friend got his in 10 weeks not that long back so I've been expecting a little more of a wait but I had everything front loaded shortly after applying from that friends advice so shows how easy it can be made for them, also backs up my point above about the agents not being needed.

Thanks all for the advice to anyone who helped, I'll happily help anyone out to pass on what I've learnt

From where you applied and what was your friend's timeline? Please share...

  12. Hey! Well I don't have a timeline as such, as it's my wife who is the main applicant. But I do all the stuff with her and am more computer/tech orientated and go on here more.

She cleared 2 different IELTS January (academic 7s) and march (standard 8s).

Then she did Anmac for skills assessment. THe LOD came back in July. She applied to Ahpra in July and got an LOD back off that late August. From here she knew we could work in Oz and we did an EOI.

They sent an invite early sept and we lodged in 15 sept.

We had already done Police checks as they are cheap. And we have our medicals (x5) booked for 28th oct.

We don't have a planned date to move yet. It'll prob be june or July 2015. We have to register to work before end of August.

Moving all 5 of us and a dog might take quite some organising, so we decided to not worry about it til after xmas anyway.

Sorry if this isn't in the preferred timeline format!

Its fine, so we are back to back . Mine is on 17th Sep. Done my medical in the last week and probably the report has been added too. I will do my PCC from India in this Nov and that is the last thing to upload.

  13. Once the medicals are uploaded its show this message, this doesnt mean that CO or someone has verified your health. Actual verification starts with CO allocation up to my knowledge.

Thanks for the reply, but if the medical is uploaded then why it is still showing recommended? any idea?
