ok,thanks for your reply.i think 515 policy depends on the diploma, right? i also got diploma from tafe but in Vic.Since we are all mechanics, then are all units included in the diploma supposed to be the same or similar, right?
also you said your colleague lodged his visa application in June, then why did his visa almost take half a year to be granted?
No idea, but he is from high risk country.

hi,flower..
is it true? i am also a motor mechanic without 2years experience, and i have c3,c4 and diploma.now i am so confused about the definition of this 2 years experience.if your colleague has got PR with only one year experience, then does it mean the 515 policy just doesn't affect this occupation-motor mechanic only?what about those mechanics who have only half a year exp or no exp?are they still not affected by it as well?
He got his visa granted without work experience required by policy statement. He got his diploma from tafesa which all units relating to automotive repair, unlike those cookery diploma ended up with focus in management study instead. Apologised if im wrong on this. I reckon this bring consideration for co. he was on 485 visa n hasnt hav his skill assess. Well, i really cant tell if this anzsco not affected by policy. But is a good sign though. Goodluck

I don't understand. When he lodged visa app in june 2013 he already have the nomination approved???
Then why it took another 6 months for the visa???:chatterbox:
My MA and Sponsor also decided to lodge the nomination and after approval to lodge the visa app. But I assume once we'll have the nomination approved then visa application should take 1-2 months :notworthy:? Am I right?:skeptical:
Nothing is a SHOULD with immi. However, he is from high risk country

A colleagues of mine have his PR granted today 18Dec 2013
He lodged his visa application after nomination approved.
Lodged visa in June 2013, Mel PSE, motor mechanic, only shown 1 year work experience.
He was on 485 visa before PR visa.
For those who concern about 515 policy, regarding 2 years exp, Here is an exemption case which not affected by it.

Hi ramansanju & simran,
are u guys from high risk country, if does, i reckon ur case could be randomly selected for external check on identity or clearances which could take up to 3-6 months.
Just be patient. Once Positive outcome from ur origin country received, ur visa will be granted straight....
-
will co ask for any docs to prove the loss can be made into profit or not????????
I dunno really. P&L statement isnt something under nominee's control. U still have to submit whatever they asked for. Finger crossed that they are satisfied with it.

Hi PRAspirant,
understand its a long wait, but my advise is to assure your nomination has been approved first as no CO for visa will be assigned till nomination done. I remembered when i rang them and their very first question is : has your nomination approved? They will not do any checking for visa part until nomination part complete

All the best.
a query for a friend here, has anyone have the visa granted which applied after 15 may 2013 and with a job that required 2 years work experience
-
Plus, DRC nomination and visa application are only available via Migration agent.
-
Required RCB Satisfaction outcome in order to lodged DRC nomination if not mistaken. I lodged DRC after RCB outcome.
-
this is exactly what my ma told me this afternoon:) hopefully i can get the visa by this Christmas.
Wish u all the best and having christmas present from immi.

Hey when you guys talk about Nomination, is that the one that you do to the RCB?
Thanks in advance.
RCB is satisfaction of employer nomination condition from state government. RCB outcome aids in immigration in making decision. Nomination is final decision from immigration

I reckon thats a good sign if CO asked for medical. Means file been looked at. Not far from finalisation after they receive requested docs. I also reckon that IF the case tend to be refused, they wont ask for any additonal docs but straight refusal instead.
-
Cheers. And good luck to you
-
And there are also people have their nomination approved before RCB outcome
cheers

I reckoned there are some info regarding DRC APPLICATION CHECKLIST from immi website. You still can lodged a DRC application before medical check done. As you required lodgement ref. for medical check arrangement.
