I am yet to get any update. I lodged on 6th sep and fingers crossed. I am getting really nervous. Hoping for the best. Congrats on your grant and I am happy for you. What was your application status until you get the grant? Was it "Application received" ?

Application status till i received the grant was "Application Received" and then changed directly to "Finalized".

It should not get more late now as i had 3 applicants in my application...but i had uploaded all the documents i thought would be neccessary and relevant...still it took 61 days for the grant...

I dint upload form 80 though...

Cant really guess how the grant process unfolds... just got to wait...nothing else...i was waiting and i know it was killing me every single day...

Just hope for the best

I have received the grant today morning... its a direct grant...really excited.

I applied on 8th of Sept 2015 for me, my wife and my daughter.

Exact Days to get the grant : 61 days

I did not hear from CO, dint even know if CO was appointed..

I hope very best for you as i can understand the emotions you r going through ryte now.. good luck, it will all work out nicely

mine is software engineer, and me, my spouse and daughter in my application. Today I called the immigration department and they said my file is yet to be looked upon. they also said only applications raised till 14th aug is allotted CO. mine will take couple of more weeks they said. this is really scary. I have one of my friend who applied on 7th October got the visa yesterday. :-(

CO has been allocated for the people who have applied on 17th of October even as per the spreadsheet.

I dont know why they said that the CO is allocated til 14th of August.

It could be getting late for the families who are applying, that is if the application consists of primary and few dependents...i am just guessing not really sure of this

The application consists of me as a primary and my wife and daughter as dependents.

I hope what falcon, saaco and captain... you guys are giving hope to people like me... but the worry is still there and the restlessness is killing me slowly

I lodged my visa application on 6th September. No update yet. I am also bit concerned especially seeing the spreadsheet of quick grants. Apra, which country you are from? Current is my third employment and have front loaded all docs. work experience close to 10 years. This waiting period is really concerning.

I am INDIAN, currently living in United Arab Emirates. I have total of 5 yrs experience. The total points i received in my EOI is 60 Pts.

I am also checking the spreadsheet every single day almost 5 times and looking at people getting their grants after 30 days some even at 20 days. its going to be 56 days tomorrow since i lodged my application.

I don't understand the reason for the delay.

I know that no news it a good news. But this wait is killing me and i have not slept since like a month..

Just hoping for the best.

Yes i have uploaded all the documents they have asked in the checklist for me, my wife and my daughter. All PCC and Meds also uploaded.

Its 8 weeks now since i lodged my application on 8th Sept 2015.

NO CO Contact till now.

I have a query as i am a bit confused and scared at the same time,

my status is showing application received

I have uploaded 2 documents on 7th October 2015.

Thus my question :

Is it getting late due to the late upload of documents and does the visa grant depends on it because i have uploaded all the relevant documents the same day as lodgement..

I don't know why the CO has not been assigned yet.

Its been 7 weeks since i lodged my application on 8th of Sept.

Till now no CO contact.

I am getting tensed looking at the spreadsheet as people who have applied after me getting direct grants.

I have uploaded all the documents with in Sept itself still its getting late.

OMG!!! Woke up this morning to an email inbox full of DIRECT VISA GRANTS!!!

Still nothing, no CO contact and my application still is showing Application Received as a status.

The application contains Me as a primary applicant and my wife and my daughter as dependents, submitted the application on 8th of Sept.

Eagerly waiting for the next step, either CO contact or a grant letter

There are 2 direct grants this month as per the spreadsheet and both of them are onshore applicants.

Hope me and all the other offshore applicants will hear from the dept soon.

I have noticed that there is an update on the spreadsheet today. An individual who applied on the 7th September 2015 (Same day as me) received a Direct Grant today........hopefully we will all start to hear some good news shortly!!

Visa granted today. I checked the vevo system and i only see my visa is granted. For those who attached in my application like my husband and my kid, there is no record there... is it something normal?

That is not how it is supposed to happen, as in you must get all the visas together.

May be our Senior Members could help out with some info on this particular scenario

Month is over since i submitted my visa application which was on 8th Sept 2015.

I have loaded all the documents including PCC, Meds (were uploaded through the medical facility itself), Pay Slips , Employment contract , salary certificate and all others to support the points i claimed in my EOI.

Just hoping for the grant this month.

Its waiting game and checking this blog every single day in the morning and getting happy for the people who are receiving grants...makes me more positive and happy for the day and gives hope for the future.

Should we upload the resume too for software engineer visa application?

It is not asked in the application and submit only necessary documents which are asked as there is a limitation on the documents uploaded.

Update:

1.) Got the letter from the university for my partner, the letter stating that the study was done in English and uploaded it immediately

2.) Medicals Completed and uploaded

3.) PCC is in progress and will be receiving it by the end of this month.

Wanted help with FORM 80.

Is it necessary to fill form 80 for myself and my partner?

As CaptainC said...if PTE A is an option for you (which I'm pretty sure if for secondary applicant regardless of Visa... but worth checking that fact), then I'd strongly advise doing that instead. Not just because of my strong feelings about the subject (see http://www.pomsinoz.com/forum/migration-issues/231707-ielts-v-s-pearson-test-english-academic-pte-academic-my-personal-findings.html ) , but your results will be much faster (2 days VS 2 weeks) and most likely you'll get a spot sooner (IELTS are usually booked up near months in advance in some places)

PTA A cannot be given in UAE as far as i know, thus looking at the situation that the visa i applied on 8th of Sept, we have time to go for IELTS if the Plan A ( getting a letter from uni) does not go accordingly.

Good news is that i have started to arrange a letter from the uni for this particular requirement, will get the feedback by tomorrow and if this doesn't work out we will fill up the IETLS asap before the CO asking for it hopefully.
