I need to score 79 (PTE-A). Would the guide suffice for me to get my required score ??

 

Time is essential for me as I need to submit EOI with the required score 79 (PTE-A) by end Apr 2016. Else, I'll not have suffice point for visa application. All my efforts and dreams for emigrate to Australia will vanish. :frown:

Have you been getting 90 in the gold kit exams?

I got 83 and 81 for the writing practice tests, but my microphone didn't work at all so I couldn't really get a meaningful score for the other categories. (I only bought the gold kit the day before the test, so I didn't really make the most of it!) I'd had the book for a couple of weeks, it had useful content, but not enough test examples. The gold kit has a lot more examples and I wished I'd bought it sooner, but in the end it didn't matter.

Guys, is 79 achievable in PTE? Has anyone succeeded to get it?

I have got L71, R70, W65, S88 in my first exam without preparation and I need to get 79 in each. Do you think I will be able to get it this time after study and good preparation?

Hi, I got 90 in each and 90 overall, so it's definitely possible. I bought the gold preparation kit and the book

I am just back from sitting my PTE exam this morning. I have to say that was of the least enjoyable experiences of my life! I found it very stressful and intense.

I ran out of time on one of the essays and the timer stopped before I was finished, and I know that I made some spelling mistakes (so used to relying on a spell checker these days).

I think that I have reasonable English, but I need 20 points from this and that doesn't leave much room for error on the day.
