I am planning to get assessed under 313214 Telecommunications Specialist or officer

Hello All,

I am writing to request for your advice for my skill assessment.

I am planning to go for skill assessment under code 313214 from EA.

But I have few questions:

1) I have done bachelor of engineering in computers from Mumbai university, India. After that I have been working as Senior Engineer - Network Operations from past 3.10 years i.e from Jan'11.

I work on data networks and on technologies like Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, routing and switching.

I am now confused about whether I should go ahead with skill assessment with EA, since engineering in computers and not telecommunications.

2) Also I wanted to if there is any difference between ANZSCO Skill Level 1 and ANZSCO Skill Level 2.

3) Upon positive assessment from EA will I be able to claim 15 points for my bachelors of engineering degree even if the ANZSCO Skill level is 2.

My points breakup is as below:

Age; 30

Education: 15 (Bachelor of Engineering, Computers)

IELTS: 10

Experience: 5

I am also from the same code 263111 and I am left with no options since 263111 is suspended in all states.

Did you get sponsorship from NT.

Dear friend, need your advice ASAP, as I am broken totally after NSW suspended ICT for October intake.

I need assistance from your expertise in this forum. Still I'm looking for possibilities to migrate to Australia. I have the following qualifications.

 

AGE : 29 years

ACS Assessment : Computer System and Network Engineer (263111)

IELTS Results : Listening - 8 Speaking - 7 Writing - 6.5 Reading - 6.5 Overall - 7.0

Academic Qualifications : Bsc in Information Technology specialized in Computer System and Networking ( 4 Year Degree)

Professional Qualifications : CCIE R&S , CCNP , CCNA , JNCIA , JNCIS, CCNA Voice , CCNA Wireless , RHCE , RHCSA

Experience : 5 Years (Network Engineer in Computer Systems and Networking) in leading Telecommunication Company

 

If I can get a state sponsorship I can obtain 60 Marks.

 

a) Will I be able to apply for Northern Territory state sponsorship ?

b) What will be the chance of getiing a ICT job with having all the above qualifications ?
