I will be arriving in Sydney next week, looking to possibly find work there and house share. Can any one give me any advice on the best way to find work (willing to do anything at first). I have been in Australia 3 weeks and have just about to finish travelling the easy Coast. I am 19 years old also!

If my passport expires in April 2015 can I apply for my WHV visa now with this same passport or will I have to get a new one?

Me and my friend are looking to be in Australia by August this year, we have been looking to go to the Gold Coast to start off. Having recently spoke to somebody who has just left the Gold Coast and is now in Darwin, we are having second thoughts as he said there is a lot of work there and a lot of regional work too.

Can anybody tell me what it is like in Darwin bearing in mind we are both 19 years old and like to go out etc...

Well depending on how difficult it will be to find work then i might resort to doing anything but obviously I would prefer to be doing something a bit better than cleaning etc. What is the best thing to do when we arrive to look for a job then?

Should be arriving in the Gold Coast in late July with a mate, the plan is to book a hostel for a week so we can settle in. we will be looking for work ASAP so im just wondering what the best way to find work is? willing to do any type of work!
