  1. Dear all,

It is the expression of happiness. Granted PR today. My timeline is 187 and Employer nomination applied on 26 Feb 2013, CO signed on 17 June 2013 and pr granted today. Those who are still waiting, you guys also will get it soon because the process is fast in Melbourne. Thanks everyone, specially Blossom79.

    Cheers

Wow, what they have asked for doesn't make sense at all. You won't have proof of Australian citizenship or permanent residency, that is why you are applying for this visa! If that is the actual wording then I would reply saying that as you are a citizen of ...... And only hold a temporary Australian visa (assuming you are in oz) then you are unable to send any proof of Australian citizenship or permanent resident, then ask if this request was meant for your employer.

    Very odd.

  2. Dear Blossom, thank you very much for your advice. My case officer has asked for 'Evidence of Employment of Australian Citizen and Permanent residency'. I simply uploaded my current payslips. I am not quite sure what does he mean? I think this kind of should be directed to employer not to employee. Further, evidence on this matter should already come up during the employer nomination approval process because my employer nomination has already been approved.

CO also asked for 'Evidence of family unit member'. I uploaded my marriage certificate only because I do not have any kids...

Did I do right or not? I appreciate your idea.

    Thanks

Dear Blossom, I am waiting for 187 visa. The organization, which has sponsored me has Australia wide branches. Now I am working in NT. Do you think, after granting PR, I can move to any other branches including interstates if my employer will happy to move me on?

    Thanks

Yes this is true. For two years from visa grant (if in oz) or starting the job if coming in just for the job. You have to work full time hours. I don't know for sure about a second job.
  4. Hi Blossom79, I have heard that after u get PR based on RSMS, u have to stitch on your employer for contract period (normally 2 yrs). Is it true? can't one, who got 187 visa, work for second job? do u have any authentic info about this?

    Thanks

    Dev

  5. Hi RobinVanPersie, you can't apply for RSMS 187 without TRN, which comes up after the RCB approved. Your employer will provide u the TRN. this is the link

https://www.ecom.immi.gov.au/elp/app?login for apply. I am not sure about the defacto.

    Dev

    Hey thanks again.

Just got a email from my agent, she says that we can actually lodge the visa as soon as the RCB is lodged if we want to(If time is running out) but if the RCB is refused I lose my $3060 visa fee..is this true?

Also will there be a charge for adding a defacto come the 1st of July?

  6. Hi Sneh, two of my friends from Darwin got pr after 2 weeks of their co signed. I think you will hear good news in 2 wks time.

    All the best

Hi after waiting nearly year finally got CO can anybody tell me how much time it will take now .my timeline apply 29 June Mel ndr high risk cook thanx
  7. HI everyone,

I rang to DIAC Melbourne and asked about the processing time of RSMS. One of the staffs from RSMS desk told me that these days it takes 6-8 months to finalize the RSMS 187 visa application. But the good thing is that they count from the date when our employer apply for nomination.

One of my friend in Darwin got her employer nomination approved few days ago while her employer applied for nomination at the last week of December 2012. Mine also done on 8 Jan 2013. Hope to get approval soon.

    Good luck to everyone..........

    Welcome to blog

Just rough timeline, if DRC application say 4 months and if NON DRC plan for 9+ months

  8. Hi Rania, I think CO does not ask for documents unless they misplace them or they are expired. How lucky you are, applied on December 012 and Got CO already! Once you re-submit those required documents, I hope you will get pr soon.....

Hi I got sponsorship from NT Employer. I have completed my study in Darwin as well. my time line :

My lawyer applied RCB, Employer nomination and my visa application together On Dec 5 2012. I have completed all documents required by immigration.

I got Case Office on 22 May 2013, but She asked about documents again such my contract, my ielts test etc. I didn't know why She asked me again. i am so worry.

  9. Dear Al..

It seems like your are pretty worried about it. Take it easy my friend, because PR of Australia is not everything in your life. It emerges as a new phenomena in your life. Even without PR, your life would be precious. And please be positive and hopeful dear. Don't let hurt your sound mind.... .

I think you are close to the decision.

    Cheers

Hi mOve 2 how many more months I have wait because it's 12 months no case officer yet what the maximum time have any idea dear.now the waiting time effect on my brain.
  10. Thanks dear Blossom79. Do you have contact details of Matilda or George Lombard, so that I can contact them. I am still hopeful for making the BVA effective...,

    thanks again

    dev

Bridging visa e is for people who are here illegally, as far as I know you want to avoid that one like the plague.

There are a lot of agents out there giving out incorrect advice. If they weren't either of these, can I suggest you contact either go Matilda or George Lombard. Their advice is always sound. I have only ever seen that you can't do it (and if you change to some of the bridging visas then you have no work rights), so I would be exteamly suprised if it is possible with so much out there saying it isn't.

Definetly double check so you don't find yourself unable to work. And please report back, if there is a way of doing it, and still being able to work it would make many people very happy.

  11. Thank you very much Blossom79. However, two migration lawyers told me that we can make BVA active by accepting BVE! I can't understand how does it work?

Can't wait for the decision of new visa application because current 572 is valid for next 18 months... How much time should I wait for 187 visa, which was applied on 26 Feb 2013, Non DRC, do u think?

It isn't possible. You have to wait until either your last visa expires, or your new one is granted.
  12. Congratulation! enjoy your days ahead my friend!

    By the way,

Dear Blossom79 and other senior forum users, I applied for 187 visa on 26 Feb 013, granted Bridging Visa A (BVA) on the same day. But the BVA is not in effect because I am on spouse visa, 572, which is in effect. I would like to make the BVA active so that my wife does not need to go to uni and I can work full time! How it can be possible?

    I will appreciate your suggestions.

    Thanks

  13. Congratulation! enjoy your days ahead my friend!
