My friend is getting ready to apply for 189 visa and is currently waiting on an assessment from Engineers Australia.

His occupation is near full and he is not sure what happens if the quota is reached just before he lodged his visa application? Does the case get pushed back until July? What if the occupation gets closed after July?

@kkwaiting please see http://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa/Char the page states that PCCs are valid for one year once they are issued. It is quite strange that the CO would ask for a new PCC if a year hasn't passed.

Also, I noticed on the spreadsheet that you filed a complaint - was it a formal complaint or just an email?

Didn't immi say that they didn't need any additional documents from you in an answer to your complaint?

Once you lodge application and make a payment you will find a button "organize your health details " or something to that effect. Click on that button and follow the procedure.

Anyone got any feedback from CO today?

It is almost 2 weeks since CO initially contacted me asking for forms, medicals and PCC. I asked the CO for some clarifications on the same day but no feedback so far. In the meantime I uploaded forms and finished medicals (the status of medicals in my immi account changed to "Health requirement – health clearance provided – no action required").

I've been debating with my significant other whether we should wait for CO to email us further instructions or just hit the dreaded "request complete" button?

Ceri that is also what I am concerned about...
