Hi Everyone I got a co today. The co ask for the medical exam and AFP for both me and my partner. So We have done the AFP online, and wonder how long it would take? And are they gonna ask for the ID copy?
-
Hi Everyone I got my nomination approved today. Also the immi says my application has not been allocated a case officer yet. However, they ask me to provide some additional item. What I don't understand is, if I don't have a case officer yet, then who is asking and why? Any idea how long it would take to allocate one?
-
YES! Finally a CO has been assigned to my case!! Now the real wait starts
Hi Dutchmen. Does it say which center your co assigne from?
-
There is no capping for RSMS visa,,,the exact term is queuing... so it means u jus need to wait lol
Good to know
-
Immigration's year resets on the 1st of July, so really not sure what that means. There are caps each year on different professions, but they reset from the 1st of July....[/
Do you mean there is actually cap on 857 visa?
That isn't a good news because no one wants to be left behind.

Sorry this one is updated one

Hi everyone!
I just joined the forum, but have being following it for quite a while. All the information has help me to keep sane and not to lose my mind yet. It is being a very long wait!!!
See below my timeline
Holding 485visa till 05/06/2013 / working with employer on occupation since 02/2011 (2 years+)
Occupation: Marketing Specialist
Region: Perth
RCB Approved:25/05/2012
Visa RSMS(857) + nomination applied:12/06/2012
Ack letter: 24/07/2012
Waiting....
Anyone from Perth on similar situation? Or anyone received the processing update email from Perth recently?
Thanks
Hi there
I lodged on 28 June 2012 in Perth, and received the ack letter in mid July, and heard nothing from DIAC ever since.
-
Hi friends.
Thanks to all of you. Department have sent me visa pre grant letter and given me 28 day to be off shore. Thank god after this long wait
MY timeline.S/C 119 NDRC High Risk Country
Case filed 29 June 2013
Nomination Approved 13.3.2013
CO asked for second VAT FEE 15 .03.2013
Pre visa grant letter issued 16.03.2013
Tickets booked for 25th March..thank god and pominoz to be with us.
we never had any clue when our case officer was allocated or any inquires from immi.
So guys don't worry we are getting there . And hopefully they will sort out all remaining cases till end of March.
Good Luck to all .
Congratulations. Which center you lodged by the way?
-
I'm guessing that would depend on the reasons you were refused. If it was just that you didn't forfil the criteria you should be fine. If it was because they think you have some how been dishonest it may be a little harder.
Sounds make sense, thanks a lot.
-
Hi everyone I have a question
For some reason I was refused to grant a 485 visa, does it affect my 857 visa application in any way?
-
Hi Dutchmen may you tell me which centre you lodged? Was it drc or no? And your occupation please?
-
Very nyc info mate,,,, but with that electronically lodged application post July,,how do they distribute the cases,,I mean allotting the centers ,,does it still works the old way ?? like for Adelaide and Melb its The Melbourne Centre !!!
So if the perth processing center is currently working the applications lodged on 7 May 2012, how could they possibly catch the 9 months waiting queues? This month they still process the files from May last year, then I reckon they at least need another one month before they would start working on the applications lodge on June, no?
-
Hi everyone
I would like to share my timeline here.
Visa and nomination application lodged in 28 June 2012, no co, no nothing yet.
Perth non DRC LR
Do anyone out here have any idea if the 187 visa has the highest priority than the 857?
