Anyone.have any words of encouragement I no we haven't been waiting for very lomg but I'm so in patient like everyone here getting the golden email will change our lives soooo much.

Family of 3 Visa submitted 24th may 2019 and nomination approved 2 days later. Medicals and police checks all done. So the wait begins I guess. Good luck to everyone who is waiting and who like us has just started there journey.

Employers are at fault for talking about the opportunity to "transition" to PR at the end of the visa, like it's an automatic thing. It isn't and it never has been (although it was easier years ago, and too many people think it still is).  Even if they were willing to sponsor you, there was never any guarantee that you'd be successful.

Your best option now is to get yourself a good migration agent and find out your realistic chances of getting a visa. If this is important enough to you, you should be prepared to invest money in it.

 

Its not like ive just sat and expected it i was told  and ive asked numerous times. And i am aware that i may not have been succesful. But the fact that ive been working the last two years when i could of actually lodge my own pr application and likely had a response by now . 

Thanks for your reply i am looking in to getting an agent and i am prepared to invest money in to it. As this is something i was willing to do even by being nominated i was going to be paying for it so its not like im looking for a free ride and easy entry . Just some advice on my next option now my transition stream isnt an option anymore

My company has niw decided to tell me after 2 years on 457 that they dont do pr nomination anymore. So ive been working towards this time for 2 years expecting to be nominated. 

So basically i need to see what my next best option is im a mechanic . Been in perth 3 years 2 years with same company i have a repairers license . What would be my best option now.

Im currently 457 sponsored with kmart tyre and auto . My visa was granted 13/09/2016

So almost 2 years now i no ive had a couple of week unpaid leave. Can i lodge my application and then they tell me if i havent got enough weeks or should i wait till mid oct to put it through for safety
