Visa Applied on : 14th mar 2013, Still waiting.

Can anybody tell me how long it will take after nomination approval

Migration agent says he lodged as a decision ready but he lodged nomination on 13th mar and visa on 14th mar. Is it possible to lodged decision ready when he lodged nomination and visa separately.

And do we have to wait another case officer to be allocated for visa processing.

    Pls reply

  3. 485 doesnt needs ur bloods test like that fr AIds,,,for Rsms u need to go through all of dem,,

Yeah I know, but when I'm doing the examination I told them that I was applying for a permanant visa and I have done all the tests.

Do I still need to re-do?

    thanks for the reply.

  4. for post july applications. where do you attach your curriculum vitae.

I couldn't find a place to attach my cv.

And I have health examination in sep 2012 for(485 visa), do I need to do another one now. I still have the sealed envelope results at hand.

  5. I was just going to ask! Congrats on getting your nomination approved! So just to make sure I understand, you lodged your nomination on 21 September to the Melbourne office right? Did you use a MA? If so, was it a decision-ready (DRC)? Are you from a high risk or low risk country? What occupation?

My employer lodged nomination on 21 September 2012 from Melbourne centre.

    I didn't use a MA hence it's not DRC.

I'm from a low risk country and the occupation is Software Engineer

  9. hi guys ..what will be your options if ur 187 visa gets rejected and u dun have any existing visa ??? can u apply student visa within 28 days ???

If my 187 is rejected, by that time I'm gonna be qualified for visa 190.( 60 points)

But I don't know if it's difficult to get an invitation from DIAC.

Could 190 be faster than RSMS now?

  10. Hi Guys,

Did anyone waiting nomination approval before submit their application.

My employer submitted nomination on 27th Septemper 2012.

And I was thinking waiting till nomination is approved before I apply for the visa. Because my salary ($44000) on the contract is below TSMIT. I thought it might not get approved so I don't want to waste another $3000.

Now the nomination is taking longer than I though and I'm worried it's gonna take the same time for my visa application.

My employer is willing to increase my salary, so is it possible if my salary is low the CO will ask for an update of the contract instead refuse me directly. If so, i'll submit my visa application now.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Hi blossm79,

My nomination was lodged for about 6 and half month. I haven't lodge my visa application yet.

If I lodge now, when co is assigned to the nomination application, will co process my visa application as well?

    Thanks.

  11. Hi Everyone

I am new to this blog but have been watching this thread and feel the pain of all those posting their cases here....

I have applied for RSMS 187 Direct entry (NON DRC) to the Melbourne PSE and am from a low risk country.

    My timelines are as follows

    Employer Nomination: Dec 6 2012

    Application submitted: Dec 23 2012

Employer Nomination approval: 3 April 2013

My question is - What are the timelines from nomination approval to application approval?

I guess, there seems to be no fixed rule on how this works. But when one gets their nomination approved, does that mean that the application would also be processesd soon? Or are they not connected in any way?

Would like to hear all your thoughts on this....

    You are sooooooo lucy.

We are almost same, except my employer nomination submitted on 27th Sep 2012, but it's still not approved yet.

and I haven't submitted my visa application yet.
