are u guys from high risk country, if does, i reckon ur case could be randomly selected for external check on identity or clearances which could take up to 3-6 months.

Just be patient. Once Positive outcome from ur origin country received, ur visa will be granted straight....

Yes we are from india.i call the immi they said they are doing external checking. Thanks for letting us know flowertea. Hope for best

hi guys i applied 187 visa in september 2012.

got case officer in may 2013 ask for medicals and pcc

and form 80 ,submitted all document in june

till now no news call immi few times same answer still in progress

so frustrating ..

Hi sonic blue why do not you apply for 489 visa .it need one year experience in your nominated field ,six each in ielts and tra .i think thats the best one for you.if you were working with your employer you can get. Experience easily best of luck

Good to hear, Ramansanju! I recall you and I lodged around the same time (mine was lodged on 11 September). Are you also in Adelaide? Is your file at the Melbourne office? I'm envious that your CO has requested form 80 and medicals.

 

I got my CO allocated to my nomination 3 weeks ago today and he hasn't requested anything. My employer spoke to him a week ago and he told my employer "it's been allocated so sit back and relax" ... easy for him to say! I wish he would get on with processing mine! 13 days from now will be 9 months since lodgement

hi sonic i applied in melbourne i am in victoria.i email the department few days ago to ask about my file .They repplied me next day that my file wil be open in a week and they did.you will be requested form 80 soon gud luck with yours

Just got my PR!!!

My timeline is as follows

Non DR application from Melbourne PSE

Employer nomination submitted: 6 Dec 2012

Application submitted: 23 Dec 2012

Nomination approval : 3 April 2013

PR granted : 25 April 2013 That's on Anzac day !!!!

Total time taken 4 months and 2 days!!!!

So some movement from MEL after all....

I wish you all the very best and hope you all hear some good news soon....I must admit my case beats all odds and I wish the various PSEs start issuing out visas at in this timeline for all. I think it will happen soon. I got a lot from information and support from reading this blog. It is a good forum to air your views and problems. It makes you feel that you are not alone......

Just a quick Update. RSMS 187 Direct Entry

 

We received approval for our Nomination and CO was allocated.

Medicals requested.

 

 

Now we are in the process to include our recently born child to the application before the decision is made.

 

Nomination Submitted: October 25

Application made: November 26

Acknowledgment: November 26

Nomination Approval: April 10

CO Requested Medicals April 10.

 

 

Everything is looking very shape
