Can anyone share their experience of ceremony waiting time at Willoughby council Sydney, I got my citizenship approved last month and waiting for ceremony letter from the council.

I need some suggestion on my visa scenarios. I am now eligible for Australian citizenship, currently I am on permanent visa. I can now apply for citizenship but my wife who is on permanent visa also(dependent) is not eligible for citizenship. So how should I proceed ? Should I apply for citizenship and my wife can remain on permanent visa(though it's depended visa and she was the secondary applicant)? Or does she need to apply for spouse visa one I applied for citizenship?

Can anyone help ?

Whats your timeline Ozkid? The 5-7 month prediction does seem to be about accurate at the moment.

HI Tickled Pink mine is not that older, I lodged it in 1^st week of December, but it’s frustrating when ppl who are in priority 4 group are getting their visa quickly when we are on the higher priority then them and nothing is happening here … driving me crazy …. :arghh:

any update guys ? very frustrating it is
