They will do an Australian police check as part of your application. You do not need to get one.
Some people wait for months for approval after test No idea why. Ours was immediate.
Thank you.

You will need AFP check or police clearance from your country of origin if:-
Since the grant of your PR, if:
1. Total time spent overseas added up to 12 months or more or
2. Time spent in any one county is more than 90 days or
3. You were requested by immigration authorities.
Good Luck.
Thank you for the information. Just that’s not what I am asking as this information is written on their website. Since I came to Australia. I have only left it once since granted pr and it’s less that a month.
Department has had not asked me for any police check.
My question is only about afp clearance. Who organises I do or home affairs organises this check?

Hi,
I have applied for citizenship in June 2017 from NSW using immi account. Submitted application, few days later status changed to received. Received acknowledgment, payment was taken out.
I am still waiting for test date/appointment.
Is there anyone else in a similar situation?

Not frustrated, was trying to help you and you responded saying it was a pretty simple question. Maybe if you re-read your original question you will realise it didn't make any sense. In any case I am a NSW applicant, apllied in June 2017 and I am still waiting to hear anything.
Hug it out mate. There is no need to drag this. Let us just discuss and focus on getting citizenship. Hoping quick success for both of us and others too.

Would have been a simple question if your grammar was correct.
You sound pretty frustrated mate, with all this waiting. Keep calm and wait. There is no need to be a grammar Nazi

Can you rephrase ? What does this mean
It’s pretty simple question but here you go:
Are there any other June 2017 applicants left on this forum who have not received test appointment yet?
I have applied from NSW

Hi Guys,
I would appreciate you help with the following; I am filling the citizenship application and when it comes to ask me about the parents of the applicant, I have filled my parent details and that I don't have their passport details as they never been to Australia. At the end of the application where I attached all the documents under my name I also can see my parents name and they have written the following (This applicant is not required to provide any evidence at this stage based on the information provided within the application. However, the department may request further information from this applicant at a later date.) How come my parents are applicant? I don't understand what is happening?
Can anyone tell me if this occurred before and should I proceed and submit it with this message or what?
Thanks
It’s a standard workflow only for information gathering.. parents are not applicants for citizenship. Thus, no need to attach any documents.

Hi,
Can someone with experience please share some knowledge:
While I am waiting for test appointment, my wife has already been approved on immi account 3 hours after giving her test last Monday. Is my wife meant to receive an approval letter as well? Does it come through email or mail?
What will be the next steps for her, please share some info as I don’t like the idea of calling immi to check this. Our applications are linked applied in June 2017.

Update from NSW:
My spouse had citizenship test yesterday.
For spouse’s online immi account, status is showing as Approved. No other correspondence, email or letter yet from Immigration.
While I still have not received test appointment date or any correspondence, other than Acknowledgment in June 2017.
We both have applied in June 2017 on the same day. Individual applications, linked together for citizenship ceremony.
Anyone in similar situation?
