  1. I haven't got job yet :(

Me too didn't get anything from immigration. Just like you, I had submitted documents on my own when I became eligible for consid'tf visa 100.

Didn't submit police check nor they asked me for.

In my case, it took 2 months approx. However the average processing time is 6 to 8 months.

    Hopefully you will get soon.

  3. Congratulations. I want ask one thing that how much time immigration department has given you to enter in Australia.

    Thank You

I am already in Australia. Previously I was on subclass 309 and now granted sub class 100 ( permanent resident) .

Time for first entry to Australia is usually the date of expiry of your medicals or police checks whichever is earlier.

  4. Hiii Faisi bro .. Hope you are having nice time in Ausie land ... Congratulation for getting closer to PR , well bro when you will be eligible for PR Immigration Dept will send you forms or you will have to apply by yourself , and like my DOL for 309 is April 10th 2012 so i will be eligible for it in April 2014 or it will be considered 2 years after the date of 309 visa grant ???? best of Luck for PR bro ....

Bro, time for assesement of PR is 2 years after DOL of 309 . They send you forms/ask for any info 2 months earlier to that. You will be applying for PR in Feb 2014 and the timeline for getting Visa 100 is 8 months for Pakistanis.

Provided you have been granted the 309 visa and you utilized it by entering Australia within the initial entry date specified. Then in Feb 2014 you will apply for that IA.

  5. Hello guys !!! hope every one is doing good..just to let you knw that I filed my subclass 100 application a week ago..does any one knw how long it can take???

Congrats bro on entering the second phase.

I will be eligible for assessment for visa 100 in a month IA. Did they send you application forms? .and what sort of information they require for second stage processing ?? And your advice. . Plz tell me so that I can be prepared before hand.

  6. Congrats bro..

Hiii guys , Sorry for late update my wife was here so i was busy ......... Well Arshad bro same happened to me they are sooooooooooooooooooo stupid ...... I called them on Oct 28th and they said they are waiting for the additional documents from me and send them documents ASAP because they have to finalise the case .. I already sent the additional documents to them in October 2012 last year and my CO confirmed me that she did receive the documents but now she said they didn't received those documents and they sent email to my migration agent twice about it and she didn't updated me and my wife about it what a mess!! so i sent the documents again to them last monday and today i called they said my file is decision ready and case has been forwarded to SCO for decision making last week ...... I am happy now but if my CO was a bit professional and was gonna make some effort to check her old emails which i told her with dates my case was gonna be finalised by now but DAYR AYED DARUST AYED ... Please all sisters and brothers pray for me that i get the positive decision soon :) best of luck to all of you ....
  7. Guys need your help I am in a situation now.

I paid and submitted my wife's spouse visa on 24 june and sent it via express post from Melbourne but even with express post it reached AHC Islamabad on 3rd July.

got email form AHC telling me that my case has been returned back to me because of incomplete fee as the visa fees changes from 1st of July. as I have our one year old son in the application too. Now I have paid the remaining fee but my question is where are they gonna send my documents to me (Melbourne) or to my Pakistani address as my wife is still living there.

and my second question is now how can I submit my application again because from Melbourne I have sent documents directly to AHC but if they sent it to my wife's address in Pakistan then will it be submitted directly to AHC or via AVAC.

Please suggest and thanks in advance.

Principly they should send the application back from where they had received I.e Melbourne. But as the applicant (your wife) is in Pakistan, it is probable that they send the application to the applicant. Also they tend to communicate with applicant Not sponsor. However in that case your wife would have received it in a day or two. So you can just wait n see where you receive it.

In case your wife gets it, she will have to reapply through AVAC.

  8. [QUFirstKnight;1936242285]Well my 14 months are completed on June 10th and as per my CO my security checks were started in June 2012 so hope SC will be completed in this month ,,,,, hmmm i also read it somewhere that they issue visas according to territory like if some one is moving where migrants are less they grant visa soon ,,, they have certain numbers to locate in states like NSW,SA ... well i am moving to Sydney and it is already crowded with immigrants :D hope thats not the case and we get it soon

The official website states "there is no formal agreement between ASIO snd DIAC regarding time frame of security checks for temporary and permanent resident visas"

So nobody knows when they will complete the checks and give their assessment report to AHC. After then DIAC will make decision and grant visa keeping in view the locality and planning. .so that can depend on yearly quota..but completion of security checks by ASIO has nothing to do with financial year or quota..It's not their business. .they just have have to give their assessment.

So I am sure that chances of getting security checks complete remains the same whether it is june or July

  9. hello waseem. salaamz. yes u r right. actually when we lodge application, AHC doesnt send SC to ASIO. they do first internal SC from our PCC and when they complete these checks and send application for SC to ASIO we dont know actually. according to my info ASIO takes 6-9 months to complete checks.( may b 12 moths max.) m waiting for visa grant for more than 12 moths but for my checks itz 9th month. so we can hope. Waseem can u pleeeez put ur data on spreadsheet.

    praying for all

Hey bro I can't access to spread sheet..anyways it has been 15 months since I lodged the application. And 11 months in security checks:(

I read that the increase in processing time can also be because of location. By the way where do you intend to go in Aus ?

  10. Finalllyyy Visa Granted  Alhumdullliah. After 15 months. The mail came around 5-6pm PST. Security clearance was done in 9-10 months from the day of submission of Form80. Only thing that was delaying was my medicals. They kept on asking for further medicals for no reason. But Thanks Allah all clear :cute:. My PCC was expired like 1.5 months ago. so few days before went to submit the docs to get it made, just in case immigration office ask us. But they didn't ask . Have to make first initial entry within 2 months.

I pray that all of you get visas very quickly especially the male applicants who have been waiting so long. Just hang in there, it will be very sudden and even you will be surprised :jiggy:

    Congratulations...!!

  11. hi, all. how r u first knight? have u got ur grant? where r other male applicants. y r all silent? any updates!!!! praying for all[/QUOT] Nope Bro still waiting ........ i spoke with some one in AHC 2 weeks back and they said my security checks are still inprocess and they are also waiting for the medicals to be cleared i dont know whether it was true or not .... then my wife lodged complaint on global feedback unit and they come up with the same story that once medicals will be clear and security checks will be completed they will make a decision on it , they started the security checks in May 2012 and then they asked for few addresses and i provided in October 2012 but still security checks are inprocess its really strange ......

Bro did they tell you that your security checks started in May 2012 ? because it is not the date you submit form 80, they send to ASIO after few months. First they complete internal security that takes few months, so might be your external checks started in Oct, Anyways your CO will be knowing the date she forwarded to ASIO. After knowing that date, one can roughly expect the time security clearance will take

  12. Ladies and gents,

I have checked AHC website and today is the last working day for AHC and they will be closed for Easter Holidays from 29th March till 1st April inclusive and will resume working from 2nd April. My husband said that in Australia processing centers are also closed during these days; therefore we will not receive any update from AHC. We can pray that we should get some news today on our cases. Inshallah.

Apart from above, we should be thankful to Almighty Allah that we have applied for Australia and not for Canada or US where processing time is in the vicinity of 30-36 months from Pak. Those who are showing frustration should visit those Immigration blogs and check how those people are waiting for their turns.

Additionally, we should also be thankful to Allah that we are going on spouse visa or skilled visa and not on student visa, where student is virtually a slave. Very harsh restrictions and conditions for students and they are more vulnerable for deportation and eventually barred from future visa applications. We should be thankful to Allah that we shall not be left stranded at arrival airport like in student cases because our spouses are settled there and we have some sort of surety that they will turn up at airport to receive us and accompany us to available residence and other places. Inshallah.

Whether a person agrees or disagrees, above is my perspective only and based on the discussion with my husband.

You are right, we should be thankful to Allah in every situation. Once we get our visas, our frustration will end InshAllah, so, its a hard time..but we should stay hopeful :)

Best of luck to all..hope the month of April proves to be blessing for us all.

  13. Hiii Waseem dont worry bro ur visa will be finalized soon , actually they cant cap the partner visa so some time they delay the cases and then when financial year start in July every year they start granting the visas in next financial year because Govt let them issue certain amount of visas per year so that some times can delay the process but still many months left till July so they wil finalize male applicants who are waiting from 12 or above months InshAllah :)

    Thank you bro..thats a relief:)

  14. I just want to say to all you people out there who have applied for spouse visa. What is with you all? before you apply it is clearly mentioned how long it can take for the visa to be granted. If you have any issues/concerns with this, then link with the embassy before applying. Once you understand and apply, then I do not understand all of such posts (how long will it take? what happened to my medical? etc etc).

You read from anywhere on the internet, start to believe in it and then confuse everyone.....you know what there is a life quota fixed by Allah as well - you never know you die before you get the visa.....wanna challenge this?

    Assalam O Alaikum,

Bro, first of all you need to be relaxed and take it easy. Probably you have not gone through this stage, or this condition does not apply to you, so why are you taking so much pain on reading posts of spouse visa when you have no concern.

Secondly, getting visa is not a life or death situation..so it does not make any sense to me why you correlate it with this ? It might be your thinking, but what I believe is that death can come to you no matter where ever you are even if in Australia. And Alhamdulillah one should be ready for it based on his/her amaal .

Thirdly, why you dont believe in Quran that :" It is He who has created love and mercy in your hearts (spouses)" and marriages are made on heavens, So its pretty much obvious that staying away from spouse is difficult( dont know it might be a good thing for you). Thats why we are concerned and bit frustrated according to human nature. Majority of us applied for spouse visa due to compelling reason that our spouses are in Australia. Also we are not demanding our visas on humanitarian grounds or for the sake of Allah. It is the basic right of Australian citizens granted by the australian law to have their spouses live with them.

Fourthly, my timeline told by embassy is up and internet is a means of information on everything. You can find forums and discussions on any topic. If we are discussing here spouse visa issues, then whats wrong with this?

There is discussion going on , everyone is free to share his thinking based on internet or whatever. even AHC cant do anything..all the decisions are in Allah's hand. And if somebody is guiding someone/helping eachother on this forum, he will get reward from Allah. so there is nothing bad to discuss something which the forum is meant for.

Lastly, please do not take it personal. my appologies if I hurt you.
