just got told by C/O that she would grant my visa as soon as my son's medical be cleared.

And the medical result was uploaded onto eHealt yesterday, any one knows how long it takes to clear out?

I made a phone call on Tuesday and told a C/O was allocated.

Thursday, got a email from CO and asked further info. including: employment contract (to specify 2 years period), Form 80 and my boy's medical (even he was not included in the application)

anyone knows what that mean by "your nominaiton and visa application were linked together"?

employer's nom was submitted on 29th of Aug and my visa app was lodged on 16th of Oct. My employer called the Dept on Dec and got told they have been linked.

does that mean they will be reviewed/granted(if it's Okay) at the same time???

the scaned copies you have up loaded are in black and white or color? what I learned from other threads is that the scaned copy does not need to be certified if they in colored.

I was allocated a case officer today. My application was lodged on the 20th October through the Paramatta office. It seems that there is no order to the allocation of case officers

I submitted in Aug. nothing came out yet.

yes, non DRC through Perth office.

Nom submitted on end of Aug and visa app submitted on mid of Oct.

Ack letter received shortly after submission. Verbally confirmed that both submissions have been linked to each other when I called in at beginning of Dec.

that's all story to now.

seems like it will not come to a result within 6 months which is the time frame for visa 186.

I have the same situation as Tickled Pink. and have beening wating for 2 and half months already. no idea when it will come to a result.

actually my plan is to get PR granted before taking an unpaid leave about 3 or 4 months. not sure if I can take it now without affecting the application..............strugling.........

what is the upgrade for? fasten the process for both DRC and non DRC?
