We also had PS and he sent us an email on 22nd March which included contact details of his team leader. I have PM'd you with these, might be worth contact him to see if it can get sorted earlier.
Thanks for the email. Contacted the team leader. He said my application will be finalised in April before my flight to Australia. Didn't give me an exact date, but it's a bit more hopeful that I'll be able to clear immigration at the airport on May 1st!

PS LUMAINOZ - when did you apply?
I applied 13th August

Got confirmation from my CO PS mid Feb that my application should be finalised mid March. Found out today that PS left DIAC last Friday and that I will have to wait until Mid April for a new CO! SO annoying to be so close to a grant. Plus, I'm going back onshore 1st May, which would've been my initial entry as approved by PS, so not sure what's going to happen now

I'm also onshore, so I thought I'd give my CO a call as my application was only two weeks after Netbg. I was told that it couldn't be granted any earlier, certainly not in Feb, even if I could give him dates and booked a flight to Auckland. He told me all 8-9 months were looking at more the 9 month waiting time and anyone getting theirs granted sooner only would be because of certain/special circumstances?!

Hi All!
This is my first post to this great thread. I'm currently onshore on a Bridging Visa, came over to Australia on a WHV over two years ago, just had a remaining relative application refused and have applied to the MRT so as to remain onshore. We lodged our decision ready 309 application offshore 13th August, confirmation was sent from PS 16th August with 8-9 month timeframe. Spoke to PS today, he said all looked fine, I'm guessing it will be granted mid May.
