  1. Hi,

totally nervous about this process!!! Help! My parents want to come Jan 2022. Have applied for visa (e visitor) then the travel exemption. I attached photo of my visa (residents return was the latest one), my Medicare of proof I live here along with Australian driver licence as proof of address and that I’m here. Birth certificate that says my parents name, marriage certificate says fathers name again. Am I missing anything and what is this bulk lodgement but all about? I couldn’t work that out.

Those who have applied for exemption can you tell me what you said to justify? I just put we want to visit our daughter who is PR as we’ve not seen her for two years. We are in good health and plan to stay with her in Victoria for 6 weeks.
    I’m hoping that’s ok?
also I couldn’t work out bulk lodgement attachment

template so I copied application saved it and attached it. Also attached their passports snd my Passport my PR (vevo check) plus a photo of us. Hoping that’s enough too.

  3. Hi,

I keep hearing ring how difficult it is to get a job as a primary teacher (I'm moving to Melbourne). How hard has it been for you guys? What do know of current situation in regard to getting a job? I am looking to do part time supply for a bit to get me head around the Aussie way of things! Any advice MUCH APPRECIATED!!

  4. Hi,

Are there any primary school teachers that could offer some advice and tell me about their experiences trying to get a job. I hear it is hard to get a job as a classroom teacher as there are so many teachers in Melbourne. I'm quite flexible with what I can do. I'm happy to do a bit of supply, contract work or even tutoring. Do you have to have a specific qualification to teach early years? I have some experience in that area, but nothing specific. If anyone could let me know about their experiences whether it be supply or permenant jobs then that would be great.

  5. Hi,

I mean 4 years training. I realise I will only be able to register provisionally and have started that process with VIT I just need to send my documents off to them. A banger sounds a good plan to get started. Sounds like it's not so easy to be a class teacher but I suppose I'm in not too bad of a position as I'm fine with doing supply and I guess they always need supply teachers right?

  6. Hi,

I am moving to Melbourne in December 16. I am wanting to be a part time primary teacher. I have full teacher qualifications and 2 years experience. I have 3 sons who will be 5, 8 and 10 by the time we arrive. After a couple of visits to Melbourne we have decided in Altona, Altona meadows, and perhaps point cook type areas to settle. How long does it take to get a rented property? We have a holiday home for a month. How do you register your children in school? What documents do I need to buy a car, and will I be be able to get finance for a vehicle. Are there many part-time teacher jobs? I'm happy to do supply for a while. My husband is a revit consultant (building design software) and has autocad, BIM management (no clue what this is!!) and other sustainable building design related skills also. Any pearls of wisdom much appreciated!
