Visa granted today. I'm shaking as I'm writing this!! :biggrin:

Glad I applied before the revision, mine took me almost 2 hours to fill. I didn't know whether I would be asked to provide it, but I uploaded beforehand all the documents including Form 80 right when I lodged my application and I received the grant without being contacted before it at all.

You have to first have your skills assessed, and that would be a long process. Mine took 16 weeks. Then the visa application itself took only 18 days for me.

You won't get a revaluation for the reading, nor listening, part because the answers are explicit and clear.

Actually the wait can be as little as less than 1 month based on my experience.

Got the grant!! Took 18 days from the lodgement!!

We got the grant letter today from Adelaide Team 4!

Yeeeeeees GRANTED I couldn't sleep last night sooooooo excited I dont know how I'm going to contain myself at work.

I've submitted everything including form 80, police checks, and even the medicals have been submitted. Everything appears 'Received' in my ImmiAccount.

I have gained a working holiday visa and two student visas from Australia before. Hope things can go faster and smoothly.

Although I have lodged the application for just 10 days, it feels like a long time already. :swoon:

Saw someone on another forum lodged on 12/Feb and received the grant today! That's amazingly fast.

I feel really relieved after reading this thread because I was also worrying about my weight. :wink:

You should have received it already if you had been selected. They send out the invitations around midnight Canberra time, which would be 1:00PM in UK. Otherwise just log into your SkillSelect account to find out.

Just got invited and finished lodging. Uploaded most original scans. Have to do the medical ASAP.

Abid. We applied on the same date. I'm losing my patience. I haven't heard my manager say he got a call.

Wish we both receive the result very soon.

Vetassess replied to my mail(s) today few hours ago! All the replies were the same:

"Please be advised that your case is currently in the final stage of the assessment and hope it will be completed shortly."

There's really nothing we can do but waiting.

One more day is gone. Tomorrow will be exactly 15 weeks for me.

That's what I thought. We really need to have a lot of patience to wait for our results.

I really wish we both get it in the next few days.

It was 22 October. It's going to be exactly 15 weeks this coming Tuesday.

Its been 15 weeks! But still no result! Feeling frustrated! On the top of that no replies from vetassess to my emails!

Same thing here, although they have replied to my email last week with my case officer saying it would be completed soon.

This waiting is so dreadful. I can't ease my mind at all.
