Hi There,

My wife applied for her depended PR 309 last year and we got the Visa grant in march this year.

She was planning to travel in Sept to Australia (first entry). She is is pregnant now and Doctor has advised against any now. Please advise if I can request the case officer the extend her first entry date by 6 to 9 months?

My wife is in Sydney on her tourist visa and we are still waiting for the CO for the offshore spouse Visa. Can we do her medicals and India police clearance here in Australia before the CO is even assigned?

Is it Valid? Or Should I just wait for CO to be assigned and he/she requesting me for the documents!

Hi All,

My Wife applied for Partner Visa in Mid july (India VFS). We haven't had a CO assigned yet. Is this normal or should i be concerned as we have crossed 2 month now.

When we call the dept, they give generic information and not specific to our application.

Should I submit any change of address form, so that the case officer when assigned knows that she is in Australia..

Hi Friends,

I applied for my Wife's Spouse visa on first week of july and applied for Visitor visa on jul 16th. She got the VV approved yesterday and planning to join me this week end. Please let me know if I should inform Diac about her out of country as I understand a CO might be assigned in first 3 months. Let me know any other procedures I must be aware of.

I checked and it says only needed if asked by the department :-). Do we need Form 1221 (Additional personal particulars information). ?

Also, is Form 888 Mandatory?

I will try to provide Marriage certificate, Marriage Photos, Marriage Invitation, Phone bills and also Flight tickets where we travelled to gather? Hope this will be fine.

Please let me know if any additional Forms needed. Can I apply for a tourist Visa for her immediately after the Spouse application is submitted?

- Forms: 40sp, 47sp, 1221, 80, 2*888

- Doccuments from me: Statutory Declaration, Affidavit from myself and my parents, JP of Employment proof, Tax assessment, Passport copy, 2 passport photos.

- Documents from Spouse: Statutory declaration, Affidavit from spouse and her parents, Marriage cert, Marriage and reception proof, 4*passport size photos, Notory of Passport and Birth certificate, cover letter.

Please let me know if I am good to lodge the application or need any additional forms/Letters?
