<p><p>Having just chatted with my agent, I think we are going to submit 2 skills assessments. 1 for Youth Worker (for the reasons you have mentioned - more likely to produce a visa!) and also continue with the Welfare Worker Skills Assessmet. For the reason that having a positive skills assessment when we get out there should help me find a job easier. I was worried that if i swapped to YW (not too late) then I may be pidgin holed into that profession and not be eligible for the Welfare Worker posts (I believe these are higher paid).</p></p>

<p><p>The only negative of this way forward is having to pay out 2 lots of fees :-( but hey, if it means we can achieve our dreams then it's a small price to pay.</p></p>

<p><p>I am equally qualified and experienced in both roles, so it shouldn't make too much of a difference.</p></p>
