  1. Hi wondering if anyone can help, I was assigned a CO today and they are requesting medicals for myself, migrating and non-migrating children but the names and HAP IDs given are for myself, my husband and my step daughter both are Australian and live in Australia, I'm guessing it's just a mistake and they will respond to my email with the correct names etc. It is just myself and my son that is migrating and my daughter will be staying here with her dad, does she still need to have a medical, I was under the impression she didn't need one as she isn't moving. Also anyone else with CO IH I haven't seen them initials in the table as yet. Sorry for the long winded post, was really excited about getting a CO but worried now. :frown:

Our non non migrating children both needed medicals and one needed police check as over 16 x

  2. We had our 309/100 visa granted Friday. We applied online 16th June 2015, medicals submitted in December and police check only submitted on the 6th January 2016. Visa granted 8th January 2016, a lot faster than we originally thought it would be .. In all that time we never had any contact with a CO.

    All the best everyone.

Huge congratulation. They Defo do not process as received xx we are still waiting and hoping

  3. Hi everybody,

We just had our 309 visa granted in just under 8 months! My partner (applicant) is a UK citizen and I am the Australian sponsor. Our timeline is below:

    Applied: 14 May 2015

    CO Assigned: 25 Jun

    Medical: 18 November 2015

    Police Check: 24 November 2015

    Granted: 6 January 2015

Throughout the entire process we didn't hear from our CO once. We received a few automatically generated e-mails and that's it. Our application was processed and granted in very quick time for some reason. We uploaded our documents very carefully and grouped relative categories (e.g. bank statements) into one large .pdf in order to help our CO read it all. It also maximises the amount that can be uploaded (I believe it is 60 documents, each with a max file size of 5MB).

Thank you to everybody on here for all your advice and guidance along the way.

    Cheers,

    B

  5. I think whatever your age it's pretty nerve wrecking. I don't think you'll have too long now to wait going by the table we have going in here but who knows!

Our CO called us a few weeks ago to say that everything was ready to go. Unfortunately because we have a time restriction with our wedding date it can only be approved at a certain time to allow me enough to time to enter Aus, get married, and get the application for the next visa in and ready to go. Because we get married in Nov, I can't enter Aus until April so a few more months until our visa is granted!

My my nerves are shot.... Get up check emails, make a cuppa ... Check emails .... On the hour every hour check emails.... Go to bed check emails ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh seriously come on !!!!

  6. Any ideas what, if anything, I should read into this email I've just received from the London office....?

"Dear Client, We are writing regarding your partner migration visa which is being processed at the London office. We can confirm that we are now able to proceed further with your application and you are requested to provide any outstanding information requested made by your case officer within 40 calendar days of this email. If you do not respond to this request within this time frame, a decision will be made on your application based on the information contained on your file"

They have given no clues about what information they're on about!!! I attached the police check to the application, but the doctor said he would send it directly to the department, he was given the HAP number etc. I assume he did this.

Anyone else had an email like this?! Don't know whether to be happy or worried...!

We received the exact same email, we have also attached everything xx really hope it's a good thing :chatterbox:
