  1. Car prices in Australia certainly are high compared to what you see around the UK, on most models anyway. Often it's good value to bring your current car with you but sometimes it's just not worth the trouble if the cost works out higher than a similar model in Australia or if it's an unusual model that will be really hard to resell in Australia ... of course if you plan to keep the car for many years then the Australian value and ease of sale may not be so much of a concern.

    - make, model & variant

    - body type (coupe, convertible, etc)

    - engine size & fuel type

    - transmission

    - mileage

    - any special features or options

    - does it have aircon

    - realistic current UK market value
