Just an update on how her application is going. Pretty strange timeline.

 

>She applied on 21st November 2013.

>Received acknowledgement letter and medical request next day.

>Completed medical on 3rd of December 2013.

>Received no further contact from embassy so applied for a visit visa on 16th Jan.

>Visit visa granted on 29th Jan.

>Wife arrived in Aus on 6th of Feb.

>Received call from a senior case officer on 13th Feb saying that he's happy to grant her visa but he needs police certificate sent to them. Says its fine to email him a copy of it.

>Email him a copy of police certificate on 24th Feb.

>Senior CO replies same day advising that she has to leave Australia for 3 working days for visa to be processed and granted.

>currently in a pickle attempting to apply for visit visa to New Zealand for her (unsure how to prove she has sufficient funds to travel there - she doesn't have a bank account)

 

If we waited a week would've saved a lot of money. Spent $1500 on a return ticket from pak to aus since travel agent wouldn't issue a single ticket. The return ticket to pak will be wasted as we're planning to go NZ. We were not expecting the spouse visa to be processed within 2 and a half months. Never heard of such a short timeline.

Visa granted. Woooohoooooo

Just over 12 months.

Yeah same here bro , I was soooooooooooooooooo down heart Yesterday and whole day today , I told my family about him and they were sad too , I wish the best to him , InshAllah he will get the visa after getting clearance from MRT ,It will take some time but InshAllah at the end they have to grant him the visa soooooooooo all the best wishes for him

I have received an email for further details for my visa.

 

Additional evidence of contact/relationship with your sponsor (eg. letters with original envelopes, emails, recent telephone bills with call details, pre-wedding photographs, post-wedding photographs from outings/family gatherings, money transfers, evidence of cohabitation etc).

 

My husband lives in Australia so we don't have much co habitating record. Please advise how should I respond? Thanks for an urgent reply.

Hiii guys , Sorry for late update my wife was here so i was busy ......... Well Arshad bro same happened to me they are sooooooooooooooooooo stupid ...... I called them on Oct 28th and they said they are waiting for the additional documents from me and send them documents ASAP because they have to finalise the case .. I already sent the additional documents to them in October 2012 last year and my CO confirmed me that she did receive the documents but now she said they didn't received those documents and they sent email to my migration agent twice about it and she didn't updated me and my wife about it what a mess!! so i sent the documents again to them last monday and today i called they said my file is decision ready and case has been forwarded to SCO for decision making last week ...... I am happy now but if my CO was a bit professional and was gonna make some effort to check her old emails which i told her with dates my case was gonna be finalised by now but DAYR AYED DARUST AYED ... Please all sisters and brothers pray for me that i get the positive decision soon best of luck to all of you ....

I got an email today saying .".Please informed if you have done the medical that was requested from you as still we have not received the report"... Can anyone tell me where am i at this stage ??

i have sent my PCC again to AHC, and called them today and asked about the status, they told me that your visa is at final stages.

Got call from my CO, asking for new PCC as my previous PCC has expired.

It does indicate that your checks are completed good luck!

the timeline has exceeded, try calling them next week.. i still get to hear the same security check thingy even after 12 months..

Last time they only asked for medicals on 12th december, and medical submitted on 24th december.

after that i have talked with CO, first time she came up with reason that they haven't received the additional document, when prof was given to them that they have received the docs then they said there are certain departmental checks that are in process and cannot provide further details as the case is still in timelines.
