Just wanted to add my information.
Applied for TRT 457->186 on the 24th April 2015, both Nomination and VISA Application was submitted.
Checked at 4.00pm and the Status said Application Received.
Checked my work email not 10 minutes ago and seen an email from my MA, thought it was a request for further information ..... but it was an email saying my PR has been granted!!!!!!
Great news, lots of people will be happy to hear that they are moving quickly

Nice info. Where did u get that?
I sent blank email to the mentioned address every week on Wednesday and kept the records
-
Hi all good morning ,,any have an idea how long they take time to finish April ?will they finish mid August?
Check out the timeline I kept and posted, you can do some projecting for the purpose of gauging, so you know at what time your application would likely be allocated
-
The following is the timeline i kept for all official allocation update till last week, the blue line show corresponding allocation data from the nsw.pse@border.gov.au emails, update on the allocation time normally is made on Wednesday so if you send blank email to this address on Wednesday evening you will receive an email back with the updated allocation time
-
It's quite frustrating that you wouldn't know for sure if your application has been allocated or not based solely on the immi account status except when they explicitly contact you for more documents. I find it a bit more easy to gauge your allocation based on the official allocation status email and the timeline table on XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX, so if you see some guys applied at the similar time with you then you sort of can tell that at least you are within a week of allocation

Muchwikki!! Wat was ur status in immi account before finilising? Mine is assesment in progress at the moment? Is dat mean co is assaigned or any document requested very confused?
Mine one was the same as yours "assessment in progress" and then "finalised", check out the post R1gger made before with the chart, if case officer ask for more documents then the status change to " information requested" or something, and then when you submit the requested information, the status change back to "assessment in progress", if no more information required then the next status will be " finalised

I am due to go away I am currently on a 457 Visa and have applied for PR and 457 does not run out for a few years... do I need to notify anyone?
Nope you don't have to as your 457 visa allows multiple entry into Australia. But make sure you notify your family, not like that guy in "127 hours' [emoji106]

I'm beginning of April and haven't heard anything yet. Sit tight Jay198990 I think you have a couple of months until they get to May applications
Hang in there amyinoz, you might get communication sometime this week I guess

Hey Guys.
There is so much information out there regarding timelines.. My MA has told me up to 6 months.. But i've noticed some people on here have had visas approved within 30 days!!! I've called the dept of immi and they told me that they are currently processing visas lodged in "March" however people on here have been getting approval from April lodgements?!? It is really confusing. Here is my story and timeline.. does anyone have any advise??
Been on a 457 visa for 2 years since May 2013 (prior to that i was on a holiday working visa)
My ANZSCO is FITNESS CENTRE MANAGER
Have lodged a decision ready application for ENS 186 with a MA on 24th June 2015 nomination and application together.
Medical completed and submitted to immgration on 7th July
Look forward to hear from anyones experience on timelines
Check out the website (I cannot write the whole link as it would be removed automatically) you will have a feel for the waiting period, department quote 6 months but the real waiting time for straight forward application is about 4 months, complicated applications could wait for more
-
So what's the process
You have to download and fill the Medicare enrolment form, bring it together with your passport and the receipt of the visa 186 lodgement to a Medicare center, they will have to scan your documents there and process your application. The process takes 5 mins, if you just recently lodge your application then you have to wait at least 4 weeks from date of lodgement for your name to be available on Medicare system
-
Can we apply online
No you cannot
-
Muchwiki, have u ever seen any cases like mine? Lodged visa and nomination at same time but nomination approved first!!! Im bit worried, dnt know how long its gonna be?? Any advice plz?
If you check this forum with records from last year and the year before you would find many had the same situations as yours where they got their nomination approved first even they submitted both together. As long as you don't have any complications regarding health or characters then the visa approval is almost certain, just have to hang in there till they complete the processing
-
I submitted nomination and applications at the same time.
But on 29/06 they asked for police check again and I submitted new one 8/7 and 21/7 the status updated " assessment in progess"
i dont why it taking so long too.
should we call CO TO PUSH THEM ?
It might mean that they have received your police check again and are processing it, I suggest if you could, try not to contact them too often, but if you are to contact them, don't ask how is your application going, instead ask if they have received all your submitted documents. This way you know that they have had all they need and are doing their job.

Next week, my application has been 6 months since lodged 27/01/15.
already have nomination approved 26 June.
Now waiting for visa, hopefully next week.
Did you submit visa application after the nomination approval , how come it took so long
-
Hi
thanx a lot. I want to submit same day
thanx a lot
i am on 457 visa from 3.5 years and in australia from 7 years
That is a very long time
-
thanx a lot. May be monday i try to make a appointment with bupa. Do u have any documents checklist for 186 TRT?
The check list is on the department website longwait , I also have a genuine suggestion that if you could, try to submit the visa application shortly after lodging the nomination application which could potentially speed up the processing. Just my own experience.

Hii all
i am going to lodge nomination and visa file next month. Only waiting for documents from my boss i.e. BAS and company tax. Plz some plz advise me if i done medical before file or after file is this effect for processing time or all same??
thanx in advance
My MA got me to create an immi account , get HAP ID and did medical 2 months before we lodged the application. I believe this has to do with having a completed medical check way before lodging the application, and you are saving time having to do it when they ask which could take weeks to clear
-
Congrats Jiwan! It can be a different case officer for the nomination and visa. The nomination is approved first...sometimes the visa is on the same day and sometimes it is looked at separately. Hopefully it will be soon for you. I hope to hear soon too, everyone around me is getting approved but I haven't heard anything
Hang in there amyinoz , very soon
-
Thx amniyod let hope for nxt week for both of us!!! Btw which is ur processing office?
Could be early next week jiwan
-
May be in October
Yeah, probably in October

Hi everyone,
I am following this thread for almost two months and get lot of information. I would like to share my timeline if any one can tell me how to edit signature.
By the way I have applied in Feb both nomination and visa. Nomination granted on 8 July. Still waiting for visa grant. Bit worried as everyone talking about march approvals.
You could edit your signature by going to Setting on upper right of the page (you have to login first), and look for signature on the left hand side in your account setting page
